With only 45.67% of the votes counted:

Cruz early votes: 419,013 Votes today: 785,621

Trump early votes: 293,506 Votes today: 496,992

The Texas SOS site updates every 6 minutes....but these are the numbers it shows now.

OK, so... early votes: Cruz % = 419013/ (419013+293506) = 58.8%

today's votes: Cruz % = 785621/(785621+496992) = 61.2%

Huh. OK. So Trump gained ground in TX compared to early votes, but not tremendously..

Be interesting to break that down by region or something.

Yes, Cruz said he is the only one who could beat Trump, backing it up with his three wins.

But as you point out, Trump beat Cruz 10 times. And he didn’t just beat Cruz, but he beat the establishment, too.

It’s ironic that Bush thought he could win without the base. But he failed.

Trump took a different path: He choose to be the leader of the base and new voters against the establishment. And he is winning.

The pussy thing and the “worst liar ever”

I knew that Trump knows the Clintons and certainly knows they lie worse than any Republican running.

I felt he was purely aiming at a cynical route for a personal win in politics once he refused to back off of those items.

Cruz is Satan. Cruz was my guy early on, I even convinced friends to vote for him but he has a purely evil side. I now see that his only real concern is getting to the WH. It's why he put on the shows in the Senate, why he wrote his book, called McConnell a liar on the floor all to establish himself as the outsider.

But I started seeing articles on Cruz and legalization then TPA happened. I saw the article Cruz wrote with Ryan advocating more power for Obama:

If Cruz were really for us and against Obama he wouldn't argue to give Obama more power under any circumstances. That's when I realized he's just another paid-for politician.
