When candidate Donald Trump announced his candidacy to run for President last year we knew immediately there would be a seismic shift in the political landscape. Those who have followed politics in the last 8+ years suspected the 2016 race would inevitably boil down to Globalists -vs- U.S. Nationalists.

trump hasn’t just been a businessman. the moment he began publically supporting liberal ideas and donating to liberal politicians he became a liberal activist. trump acted the same as george soros and the businessmen in my city who fund and support the Dem machine.
Cruz has shown he’s not owned by anyone. This is why the gopE doesn’t like him. And that’s a good thing.

I was a Cruz supporter at one time too but I didn't cling to him like some of these Cruz supporters do as if he is the second coming.
This place is good at vetting candidates and Cruz, the candidate, is not immune to being vetted but some of these people have come off the rails at the process.

I was for him, when he threw hi hat into the presidential primary ring, with some trepidation and only some enthusiasm, since the bloom was starting to come off that rose.
The more I learned about him and the more I heard him, the less I liked him.
Then Trump entered the picture. I listened carefully to what he had to say and the more I heard, the more I liked.
I don't understand some of the posters here, who block out reality, lie, refuse to accept the truth, and are vicious to those who post facts.
Why don’t you tell me. Which is more 37% support for a candidate or 40% support for a candidate. Which one is supported more?
Just because x got 6 million votes doesn’t mean he’s more or less popular than y who got 7 million votes. That’s why you look at percentages in situations like this rather than gross votes.
However, if you want to play that game I guess you could say that no one in the history of Republican primaries has been voted against more than Donald Trump.
