Breitbart published an article called “Robert Jeffress Rebukes Glenn Beck for Criticism of Southern Evangelicals,” which quoted Baylor professor Dr. Thomas S. Kidd as saying, “There are many reasons why devout Christians should hesitate to vote for Donald Trump, but God has not revealed Ted Cruz as the divinely anointed alternative, either.” Beck took this to heart and spent quite a while clapping back at them on his show today.
Beck’s devotion to Cruz certainly is religious. He has fasted for the man. He has foretold violence if Cruz is not elected. He even theorized that God killed Justice Antonin Scalia in an effort to guide Cruz to the presidency. All of this was done while using the thinly-veiled rhetoric of “end times” prophecies.

What concerns me is the number of Evangelicals who no only don’t see that but fall for the idea that ‘real Christians’ should/must vote for Cruz.

Beck has lost it—Cruz is just a man—a normal man with his own weaknesses. He isn’t a god or even a prophet. he would be good in the Attorny Gernerals Office or Supream Coart.

This entire Cruz camp is messed up in the head. Here most of us think about the resurrection of Jesus and both Mary his mother and Mary Magdalene brought spices to the tomb. They got there and saw the stone had been rolled away. They entered the tomb. They walked over and saw a young man sitting on the right wearing a white robe. He said to them not to be amazed. He told them they were looking for Jesus of Nazarene and that he had risen. He said go tell his disciples and Peter after showing them where they had laid Jesus. He told them Jesus was going ahead of them to Galilee and they’s see him there.
Yes, we have this most spiritual weekend and the celebration of Jesus sitting at His Father’s right and Beck and the Cruz camp talk about Ted like he is something. I say-Lord forgive them for they have to be mixed up. Certainly someone has taught them your word wrong.
For a pagan Mormon, I think Beck should worry more about the planet Kolob than what’s going on on this one.
