Never mind the flowers. I'm collecting now. Just send cash.
Does it get drunk and mess with girlies while on duty?
And no healing, either. Nothing but smoke and mirrors.
I have feelings toward our vets who served, but, I didn’t agree with the Viet Nam war. It was a huge mistake, so I hold nothing against those who served or didn’t serve in that fake war.
ROFLMAO
“I have feelings toward our vets who served, but, I didnt agree with the Viet Nam war. It was a huge mistake, so I hold nothing against those who served or didnt serve in that fake war.”
There was nothing fake about the Vietnam War. The United States saved millions of lives in Vietnam and throughout a number of Asian nations close and far removed from Vietnam. The Democrats badly mismanaged the war efforts and then shamefully sold out the Vietnamese people and all of the American veterans who sacrificed to save that generation of people. after the fall of Saigon, considerably more people were murdered, exterminated, and otherwise killed by the Communist government/s in the region between 1975 and 1985 than had been killed in all of the warfare in Vietnam from 1932 to 1975. Despite the many ways in which the Democrats botched the military and diplomatic efforts in Vietnam and the region, the effort produced far greater geopolitical and humanitarian benefits than the willfully ignorant mass media and public will ever choose to admit.
You seem to be omitting the fact that after Nixon brought the troops home, Cambodia and Laos immediately fell to the Communists - so, nothing was gained and a whole lot more lives were lost. I had classmates killed in that war, and don’t try to sell me on what a great deed was done. We weren’t allowed to win, and if you go to war - you should go in to win. Enough said!
Narcissistic Rage as the Psychodynamic of Trump Derangement Syndrome

The psychodynamics of narcissistic injury and rage have been studied for over a hundred years. Narcissism involves a grandiose and unrealistic self-image of personal perfection, brilliance, exaggerated admirableness, or special ability or powers. This ongoing condition involves a defense mechanism of self-delusion, which is unstable and becomes deranged when confronted by reality.
A psychological complex called the narcissistic injury, or mortification, arises from a blow to that unbalanced sense of self-worth. The blow exposes the gap between the narcissistic ideal and the actualities of the narcissist’s condition. Narcissistic injury provokes an uncontrollable desire for revenge against the individual who is perceived as unmasking the narcissist’s untethered self-worth.
Narcissistic rage cannot energize rational discourse. It takes the form of a personal, obsessive, burning hatred toward the person perceived as challenging the narcissistic delusion. Narcissistic rage is an effort to rebuild the false self-image and restore a sense of power through an attack against the threatening individual.
Psychology distinguishes between the venomous spewings of narcissistic rage and the justified stance of mature aggression. Several major right-wing pundits are maturely questioning and disagreeing with Donald Trump’s positions. But Trump’s independence in speaking truths about what the American people can do when they set their minds to something has unleashed narcissistic rage from the firmament of failed Republican candidates and insular, irrelevant right-wing punditry.
Prior to the Trump temblor, the right-wing establishment maintained power despite consistently avoiding the battles they promise to join, selling out ideals, and betraying voters. The elites developed a narcissistic character structure of self-aggrandizement untroubled by the reality of their consistent failure. They are now spewing personal vilification against Trump, which they have never directed against Obama or Hillary, because Trump exposes what they unconsciously perceive to be their own deficiencies.
Well I am a Nam era vet (was never in country).
When Trump dodged the draft someone else went in his place he is a coward.
“Tacky colored dOrsay pumps.....”
This is real Al Bundy intel.
ROFL!!!
He isn’t a coward, and he did register with Selective Service. Google this and you will find that he wasn’t a draft dodger at all. Thank you for your service, but, to call someone else a coward because they didn’t agree with that war is despicable.

On the contrary, the other nations near and far I commented upon included Cambodia, Laos and many more. Don’t take my word for it. Look at the casualty figures for the nations of Southeast Asia during the date periods I mentioned. The compare the numbers before 1975 to the numbers between 1975 and about 1985 or so. I was serving during OPERATION LINEBACKER II, and I was a member of the base staff that welcomed home the POWs aboard the Hanoi Taxi. I knew and met many of these men. I also knew a great many Asians and Pacific Islanders who professed their eternal gratitude for the role the United States played in keeping the Communists tied down in Southeast Asia and suppressed in their own countries.
“I had classmates killed in that war, and dont try to sell me on what a great deed was done.”
What makes you think I did not lose family members and friends as well, or that I also could have been risking my own life and limb by volunteering for the Air Force?
“We werent allowed to win, and if you go to war - you should go in to win. Enough said!”
Didn’t I already cover that when I commented upon how the Democrats mismanaged the war efforts?
As for the winning of the war, one of my pet peeves is when people try to tell me the U.S. military lost the war. Nothing could be further from the truth. The United States military won the Vietnam War on about three different occasions. After the 1968 Tet Offensive, the North Vietnamese Politburo were preparing to begin negotiations to end the war on some very favorable terms to South Vietnam and the United States. Then Walter Cronkite opened his Big Mouth and President Johnson gave up. Suddenly, the North Vietnamese Politburo decided they were going to be back in business again just as soon as they could muster the next generation of soldiers, equip them, and train them for a 1970-1972 campaign in South Vietnam. So, vastly more lives were lost. Vietnamization of the war allowed most of the U.S. military forces to be withdrawn by 1970-1972, when the North Vietnamese decided to make their next great invasion. The air forces in cooperation with the South Vietnamese forces crushed the North Vietnamese invasion again. A whole class of North Vietnamese soldiers were annihilated in the attempt, leaving North Vietnam with too few forces to continue the invasion. When Nixon authorized OPERATION LINEBACKER II, the North Vietnamese were forced to sue for peace to buy time to raise another army of young recruits. This is when the Democrats like John Kerry helped to betray the South Vietnamese and withhold the promised U.S. air support. When it was next proposed to attempt yet another invasion of South Vietnam, the Soviets strongly advised against doing so. The North Vietnamese Politburo tended to agree that the venture was sure to draw the U.S. air forces back into the conflict and destroy the tank army the Soviets had just bestowed upon Vietnam. One voice from their leading general disagreed. He then led this new tank army to victory over South Vietnam as the Democrats forced the American air, naval, and ground forces out of the conflict and contrary to our earlier promises to the South Vietnamese.
The real slaughter began after the South Vietnamese surrendered to the North Vietnamese. Look it up. The numbers are ghastly. Then look at what had already been going on in China with the Great Cultural Revolution with over 30 million people dead. The carnage would certainly have been far worse if the United States had not stalled the Communist advances in Southeast Asia long enough to secure the rest of the Asia-Pacific. That is not my statement or opinion. It is what I have heard voiced by my Asian friends for many decades.
Was it worth the price in American casualties? That is always going to be disputable depending upon personal points of view. I know many South Vietnamese people today who still love Americans and respect Americans for the sacrifices we made for them. That really should count for something and something very important to us as well as them. We also learned a lot that saved large numbers of American military lives in the conflicts of the 1990s to the present.
He isnt a coward, and he did register with Selective Service.

OMG he registered for the secret service and got a medical deferment what courage what guts, not rich boys got medical deferments, he is ready to send others to do what he wouldn’t do.
Oh, shut up. I know many who got medical deferrments - the military wouldn’t take them. That doesn’t mean they weren’t ready to serve. Go stick your head in the sand - loser!
