What should be pointed out....is that after the last election...tax laws were rewritten in France, and if you were a man of substance....they were going after more of your money, so why stay? Little of this movement had anything to do with Muslims, which the article tries to hint at.

This was my thought. I remember the taxes going up substantially in France some time back that provoked fears that the richest in France would leave. I just assume they are finally packing up.

As stupid as the French can be sometimes, they are pretty serious about their food, art, and culture. When the muzzies keep pushing too much on damaging those things, the French will respond. Look up YouTube videos between French and muslims and you'll find all kinds of things where the French people are getting pretty sick and tired of this crap. Sadly, Germany is currently more tolerant than they are.

They are fleeing Monsieur Hollande and his taxes.
But go ahead and blame the Muslims if it makes you feel better.

I am betting Socialist taxes had more to do with it than Islam.

I suppose it is not PC to ask, but wonder how many of the fleeing are actually Jews that happen to be millionaires?

Germany of the 1930’s comes to mind when perhaps the ancestors of those fleeing fled Germany ahead of the killings

Minor error in the article: Britain is not in the European single-currency bloc. Britain has the pound sterling.

Yes, I agree. France implemented the 75% income tax on high earners 4 years ago. The Government was warned this would happen and it did.

Tolerance in Germany isn’t the term I’d use.

I live here, so I’ll make this observation.

You had six significant parties in Germany. Five of the six are set to full-acceptance on immigrants, asylum seekers and refugees (the Merkel vision). The Bavarian CSU folks were leaning right to some degree and said some things just weren’t working.

So, along came the seventh option (the AfD). Anti-immigration, anti-asylum, and anti-refugee. This party has several problems: no real political stances beyond the foreigner issue, limited people qualified for national or state posts, and some people connected to it with extreme far-right views.

Presently, I’d say that 14-to-20 percent of the country (depending on the German state you reside in)...are leaning AfD. They are taking voters away from every single party, which angers the political establishment in Berlin.

Two state elections coming up in Oct/Nov of this year (eastern states of Germany)....go figure at least 20-percent wins in each state if the present mess continues. Three more state elections in spring of 2017. Major national election in October of 2017...with all kinds of consequences if they were to get 25-to-30 percent of the vote.

With all of this....you’d think from the five parties under the Merkel-vision....that they’d eventually change their view and try to save some of the votes. But there’s such hostility now from the far left and far right....I don’t see much positive to say except there’s major issues after 2017 with the government’s stability.

He could go now. A country facing terrorist threats needs a good community organizer. I’ll chip in for his one-way ticket.

that’s a lot of money fleeing the hellhole.

wonder what type of individuals are coming in to take their place? Will they be eating caviar and drinking Burgundy? Likely it will be hummus and Christian blood.

...and these rich idiots probably pushed for “multiculturalism” and allowing the invader into France. What losers.

“As stupid as the French can be sometimes, they are pretty serious about their food, art, and culture. “

My bet is that after the tourism dollars shrivel up, Frenchmen will be really upset and rebel.

Who wants to visit a place where airports and train stations are bombed or closed because Americans are targeted?

It’s both. You seem very eager to remove the Muzzies and their effect on French society from the equation. Why?

I’m not eager to remove ANYTHING. I’m saying that the overriding #1 reason millionaires would leave France is their confiscatory levels of taxation.

People that wealthy can always live in gated communities and hire armed guards, so they are the LAST ones personally affected by Muslim Terrorism.

Hello, Captain Obvious???

“The report warns that other European countries, including the UK, Belgium, Germany and Sweden “where religious tensions are starting to emerge”, “

What Horsesh**. The only tensions are the waves of head choppers entering these countries.

‘religious’ tensions.....

They must have some of those jihadi Amish in Europe, too.

1. According to the report, Millionaire migration in 2015, France topped the list of countries with maximum millionaire outflows as it lost 10,000 millionaires, or 3% of its millionaire population. Among the cities that saw maximum millionaire outflow, Paris, was at the top – losing about 6% of its millionaire population or 7,000 millionaires in 2015 to the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and Israel.

2.The report highlights a trend that saw many UK-born wealthy people relocating their bases to other English-speaking nations like Australia, US, Canada and New Zealand. “This may be a trend that continues in future as several wealthy UK-born people that we spoke to said they were concerned about the way London and the UK in general had changed over the past decade or so. Australia seems to be their preferred destination,” the report says. In 2015, London saw an inflow of 3,000, but an outflow of 2,500 millionaires, who moved to small towns in other parts of England or other English speaking countries.

For a couple of years, rich former Chicoms have been coming to the USA and buying premium homes/condos in premium areas on the West Coast and the East Coast.

Last year, we started meeting Brits on walks and local tourist areas. They had bought homes or were checking out homes and the area to relocate. Friends and relatives around the Bay area have been seeing Brits moving into their areas.

Have the Aussies and Kiwi’s changed their immigration policies? For decades, they have not wanted rich millionaires immigrating and bringing nothing but money and themselves.

We know a nice and very successful American family in our area. They own homes in the bay area and San Francisco, an ocean beach home and property on a premium fly fishing river in Montana as well as season tickets to the SF Giants, 49ers and the Warriors.

One of their single adult sons went to Australia and New Zealand for several weeks, this year and is now in South America.

This week, I asked the Dad if they were thinking about pulling the plug here in America. He said that they were. They had considered France and the attacks in Paris last fall erased France from their consideration. The incidence in San Bernardino kick started their relocation search and sending their adult son to check out countries.

He said that he could basically run his business from the internet with one of his sons managing the office.

I would bet that this family is not by themselves re thinking of pulling the plug here.

Smart money moves to safety in times of peril or social upheaval.

Europe’s birth rate signals their native stock is not reproducing at a rate that will sustain their populations—the inevitable result will be Europistan.
