Donald Trump is now the least popular American politician in three decades
LA Times ^ | April 1, 2016 | David Lauter

Controversy over Trump has failed to dent his standing with his core supporters in the Republican primaries, but his image among the rest of the electorate has plunged.

The share of Americans with an unfavorable view of Trump is extraordinary: 68% in the most recent Bloomberg poll, 67% in the CNN/ORC survey, 67% in the ABC/Washington Post poll, 65% from Gallup. The 57% unfavorable rating he received in the most recent CBS/New York Times survey looks mild by comparison.

You nailed it 100%, buddy. Massive concerted media effort to chase off the fence sitters. Massive noise machine. Now Left and GOPe unite to fight the common enemy. Whole thing this week will be to try to morph a modest Wisconsin win by Cruz (where he only picks up a handful of delegates, net) as “the tipping point.” Wait till NY. Wonder how they will spin it when Trump absolutely crushes the competition?

.

Most unpopular candidate among illegal criminals flooding across our border and the corrupt politicians of the establishment, yes.

As a native Texan, believe me- you don’t want our ‘Texas Senator’ as your president.

The longed for revolution against corrupt politicians and the corrupt administration who has stolen our country from us is here. Now is our chance to act. At last we have a nominee for president who hears and understands our anger and frustration. That man is Donald Trump.

At last we have a nominee who is not PC crippled, a fighter- a man who is owned by no one. A man who hears the voice of We the People, and is willing to stand up and fight for us- a man who is non establishment, but is one of us. Our voice.

On the other hand, we have Cuban-Canadian Ted Cruz.
Some years back, we were at a function in Austin where the ‘honored guest speaker’ was Ted Cruz. He came off as so phony and slimy that it was easy to understand why he has always been so disliked and mistrusted by his associates. (Google it)

By the time the function was over, I was so put off that I would have paid to slap his face. He is just that obnoxious. That’s when I began to research his background.

Elect Ted Cruz, who has clearly sold his soul to the corrupt establishment, and if he is elected, it will be business as usual.

Elect Donald Trump, and we have a fighting chance to undo the damage the Muslim/Marxist has done, take America back and make America great again. It is our last chance.

Could be expected from the Latino Times of Los Angeles. I bet Jorge Ramos stands strong with them in this assumption.

“Elect Ted Cruz, who has clearly sold his soul to the corrupt establishment, and if he is elected, it will be business as usual.”

Not to mention that it almost guarantees a President Hillary. She can beat him easily. The only one she is afraid of going against is Trump. That should also tell people something.

GOPe is in bed with the Democrats for a Hillary presidency.

See:

Tech billionaires (major Dem donors) plot with GOP leaders at exclusive island resort to stop Trump

Before it was the republicans are stupid, not smart while the democrats were intelligent.
They cannot says that about billionaire Donald Trump and Ted Cruz who probably remembers what he had for lunch in 6th grade.

Now they say they are not liked. (but are way ahead in polls to the democrats)

Meanwhile Hillary Clinton is saying she cannot recall when questioned by the FBI... yet again.

“Polls can be and frequently are manipulated.”

LOL Yeah, all 16 of them, different organizations with all manner of biases every which way, in the same magnitude and direction. Right.

This does not surprise me one bit, although I think the data may be over stating the problem. How was the question asked, for instance.

If I were asked about Donald Trump and polled about whether I liked him, I might answer ‘No”. That does not mean I would never vote for him however.

To the rabid Trump fans here on FR - you have to face the fact that Donald does irritate a lot of people for various reasons. Some of it is just that lots of people are either ill informed or are simply left-wing loonies. Others are put off by Donald often by his abrupt manners and over-large ego, along with his demeaning of anyone who crosses him. It is the latter which keeps me from supporting him.

Donald Trump was asked by his wife and daughter, Ivanka to try to act more presidential. He has ignored their advice to his own detriment.

Trump supporters seem to fail to realize all the polls show the same high negatives for their guy. But they are stuck in a bubble. They think Trump is going to have at 45 state landslide. They think Trump is going to have huge blocks of blacks and latinos voting for him. They think women will vote for him in droves. They fail to see their guy is actually hated by most people. Not disliked, hated. 65% plus in all the polls. This is not made up. If we nominate him, we all better practice saying Madame President. He has the worst shot at winning in November.

They said the same thing about Reagan at about this time in the election cycle.

They also said he would lose to Carter by 20 points.

I support Trump. Polls are done to make news... every poll done by whomever is by design to 'deceive'. You are projecting much like pollsters poll. Votes are what count. Presently Trump leads in the only poll that counts.... Distort that.

I think it would have been more informative to have it read like this:

Donald Trump is now the least popular American politician since the time Ronald Reagan ran.

The way the leftist press continues to hyperventilate over how unpopular Trump is, and how poorly he does in poll x or poll y, I begin to suspect that he will win in a landslide. They really seem to be trying to reassure themselves.

The Dummies have been mesmerized by Hillary and Sanders, both Communists who float out the Big Government trough and tell their supporters that there is plenty of hog slop. When one of their paid disrupters makes a scene at a Trump rally, the Dummies hear how bad Trump is making people feel and all the anti-Trump propaganda. In the meantime, Trump is trying to fend off the attacks from the other candidates and trying to win Republican delegates. He has little time to make his case against Sanders and Hillary while they paint him in a corner. Thus, these polls reflect Democrat supporters and those supporting Cruz and Kasich.

So, if Republicans continue to be stubborn, continue to be ignorant, continue to be stupid it is time to wake up and smell the coffee. Get up out of bed, put on some pants, put on your red hat and go to work electing Donald J. Trump as our next President of the United States! Otherwise lay there and let America slip down into the netherworld, like the ship Titanic; never to return to the human race forever.
