The DNC/Clinton machine will find a better judge.

I guess Cruz only approves of only part of the Constitution. This guy is slimy.

In other words, our judicial system has determined that there aren’t any requirements to run for president.

I thought Trump was going to sue to prove Cruz is not qualified to run...

O’ Wait...

Yep, all the liberal judges declare him eligible, at least for now. And you call yourself champions of the Constitution. What a joke.

This is the same judge you all are in love with. Guess by now Cruz loves him too just like Obama did.

In the end, Judge Masin ruled that Obama’s nomination petition was not defective, Obama had no obligation to prove his eligibility, and that in general the children of aliens born in the United States were natural born citizens.

So you believe if King George had fathered a child with an American woman, the founders would have accepted that child as qualified for the presidency?

Laws existed before the Constitution was ratified, and the laws present at the time of the ratification of the Constitution spelled out what a “natural born citizen” was.

Easy peasy, huh?

Well, those laws got superseded by others that did not bother to spell out what a “natural born citizen” was. The Constitution was now using an orphan term.

Enter the wonderful circus of legal Rorschach tests.

I say stupid on the USA. We might as well have had a Constitutional requirement that the President be a freeblesnork.

Obama was certainly eligible for the Presidency, at least from the point of his birth. The fraud and conspiracy perpetuated by the Obama crowd was that he covered up his failure to restore his NBC status after his adoption by Sotero. He used his Indonesian citizenship to gain entry in college and avoid registration for the draft. This had to be fixed when he went into politics.

why play a Trump card now when it may be much more useful later. Long as Cruz is damaging Trump hes still useful for our rulers.

The challengers argued Cruz was a naturalized citizen because he was not born on U.S. soil.

No, I argue that Cruz was not born to two American parents so he is not natural born. And as far as his citizenship goes, he may not have ever been naturalizes as well. Were any documents presented in this case or the others or are these "verdicts" solely based on the whims of a judge with no actual proof one way or another?

This is good news — now we go to a real federal Court with this new jersey administrative hack nothing out of the way ( he certified obama!!!!). The Federal question will now be addressed by a real judge. First time with standing!!! Can’t wait!!

Framers intention:l for natural born: born on American soil of two American citizens.

That's nonsense. That is the Birther Brigade intention, but they weren't around when the Constitution was crafted.

you're absolutely incorrect.

the Founders wanted to insure no foreign king could ever hold the top office. that's extremely well know. they also wanted to insure no foreign allegiances, at least by birth.

as for the definition of the phrase, it was published decades before in 'the law of nations'. do you think the highly educated people founding a nation would refer to such a text? obviously. and what was written in that text?

“No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.”
-- The Law of Nations, 1758

any other definition written after the Constitution would be irrelevant. any court case that did not review such information is a case expecting to be overruled.

Should Cruz get the nomination(which he won’t) the Democrats will sure as hell make this a major issue. I’ll be rooting for the Democrats on this one. The constitution DOES MATTER!

Don’t you remember when Trump brought this up, it was just as a “favor” to Cruz? He didn’t think it was an issue, in his obviously learned constitutional opinion (see: Trumpisms on separation of powers, the legislative process, spending, etc.), but he was simply recommending that it be litigated to get it out of the way. Being pals with Cruz at the time, he was just looking out for him. I imagine he is very relieved that this has been, repeatedly, a non-issue for Cruz in court.

“A bad day for the Birther Brigade”

Of which Cruz was just a few years ago, when he said a natural born citizen had TWO AMERICAN PARENTS.

No he wasn’t and that is why the Constitution is being eroded in preparation of abandoning it completely. Obama’s mother did not even meet the rules set forth to make him a citizen.

Was there any evidence presented regarding Cruz’s mother’s citizenship at the time of Cruz’s birth? What, if any, evidence was presented?

I am floored daily by people who do not understand what a natural born citizen is.... It was and always will be about divided loyalties.

Like I have asked many times, that no one will answer, is how the founders would have handled King George knocking up an American mother. I am quite certain they would rule that child ineligible due to the natural born clause.
