I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat.

My reply:

Build the wall.
Enforce the law.
Deport them all.
End sanctuary cities.
End anchor babies.
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration.
Cut the taxes.
Cut the spending.
Cut the regulations.
Cut the government.
Cut the debt.
Cut the EPA.
Repeal ObamaCare.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states.
Get a handle on trade.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital.
Bring back manufacturing.
Bring back jobs.
Strengthen the economy.
Defend the second amendment.
Defend religious freedom.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges.
Rebuild our military.
Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil).

End political correctness.
Take the GOP head-on.
Take the media head-on.
Take the liberals head-on.
And win, baby, win.

All of the above on a shoestring budget compared to most of the 16 competitors he’s defeated (after they spent 100's of millions of donor bucks).

No PACs.
No big donors.
No party support.

What’s democrat about any of the above?
What’s not conservative?
What’s not to like?

And I’ll add a few more:

Redo the horrid Iran deal.
Take a serious look at NATO.
Require our allies to pay more for their defense.

Rebuild the Reagan Coalition and attract blue collar workers by making America first again on manufacturing, trade, secure borders, economy and jobs, jobs, jobs!

Make America Great Again!

Those are Trumps notes. Everything Jim listed has come from Trump’s stump speeches.

No, Trump's election year promises are what matters.

According to whom? Trump?

If you think sticking with the DC status quo, led by Hillary or the GOPe/mimi-GOPE (Ted Cruz), then take your vote elsewhere, I guess.

I find your lumping of Cruz (and the TEA Party) in with the GOPe to be highly disingenuous.

Trump will be different.

Unicorns farting rainbows, as I see it. Wish in one hand... 'Will be' is not 'IS'. Cruz IS Conservative, by every measure.

Trump doesn't have a political record, but he has a good record as a red-blooded American capitalist in the real world, as opposed to the phony world of politics.

Sorry, but no, he doesn't.

the only person even remotely willing and able to lead that change is Donald J. Trump.

Messianic strains. No thanks. The working end of the spear is the TEA Party... not one man.

Vote Trump

Thanks, but I'll stick with the Conservative in the race.

Tell it to 2nd Division Vet. I’m getting sick of his posts from leftist Trump-hating leftist blogs.

I believe it's customary, when running and sniveling to the boss to whine about someone who hurt your feelings, and had the audacity to support the opponent of your candidate, to ping that person to your post.

He already has. Those are trumps stated positions and he even has written position papers on them

1. Slander. Name calling.
2. Misdirection. Avoiding the content of the post and making an unrelated ad hominem attack.

You just proved my point about the lack of critical thinking.

You and your ilk are GLOBALISTS.

Your enemies here on FR and in the USA are the PATRIOTS.

You need to do a lot of reading before you shoot your mouth off with a determinedly uninformed opinion.

We have this amazing thing: The Internet. And search engines. There is no excuse for not being fully informed on this topic other than intentional know-nothingism.

The folks we’ve elected AS REPUBLICANS have had NO PROBLEM working with democrats and Obama... That’s been part of the problem - they’re always bowing to powerful democrats.

Why do you think they’d be any different with Trump? He’ll be powerful.

They’ll work with Trump - or all of us out here in the REAL America will replace them with conservatives who will get off their butts and work to get conservative plans accomplished.

He’s a hard working American capitalist who is fed up with corrupt/inept/incompetent politicians of both parties screwing up our economy and our nation. He wants the same things I want and all Judeo-Christian patriots want. To secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity. It’s America First, but if it sounds conservative so be it.

No one has fought the GOPE more effectively than Cruz.

That was then. This is now. If you can't bet them, join them, I guess.

Neil Bush on his finance team? Mitt Romney? Jeb? John McCain? Lindsay Graham? Give me a break.

Ted Cruz has been exposed as a disingenuous, naked opportunist with blind personal ambition and no principles.

For God's sake, Cruz played the race card against Donald Trump, knowing full well that the accusation was totally false.

That was one of the early red flags for Cruz. There have been many others subsequently.

Image is everything, and I guess you've been suckered in by a slick politician who had nurtured an image of a staunch, principled conservative.

Well, the Cruz mask has slipped at this point, and there's no going back...

Koch brothers and Adelson give to the cheap labor express candidates.

As far as H2B visas go. I have run a resort in Wisconsin Dells WI, the Waterpark Capital, and can tell you it is impossible to find enough workers. Even maids at $15 an hour. Nobody wants that job. Or like I said they can’t pass a background or drug test. Have people from Alaska, Minnesota or the Dakotas applied for Trump jobs. If not, they really cant bitch, can they? And I don’t know what you mean that he pays them less. They still are paid at least minimum wage.

I have a good friend who is in human resources at Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee WI. Great benefits. Look on their website. They cannot find enough workers....even though Milwaukee is loaded with welfare recipients. Like I said, nobody can pass a background or drug test.

I am delighted to stand before Christ on the question you raise.

I do not personally abuse anyone on this forum

I don’t agree with Trump.

We are allowed to do that. My reasons are rooted in my strong preference for conservatism.

I am not even convinced that Trump is a republican let alone a conservative.

I am honestly shocked that someone in June 2015 can change his political colors and 80% of Free Republic is willing to jump on board.

I am not

no amount of shaming and calling me a “class A jerk” will change my opinion.

Before or after he said the opposite?

Sorry - he says a lot of good things and then counters them. Often within hours.

Yes, he took aim at the United Nations, and TODAY and in a couple other stump speeches the last few days, he took aim at the WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION. The TWO does all the trade agreements where we get screwed, and Globalists, like Ted and Heidi and the TPP and the NAU go along with it because it will destroy the USA as a sovereign nation. We need to get out of both.
