I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat.

My reply:

Build the wall.
Enforce the law.
Deport them all.
End sanctuary cities.
End anchor babies.
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration.
Cut the taxes.
Cut the spending.
Cut the regulations.
Cut the government.
Cut the debt.
Cut the EPA.
Repeal ObamaCare.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states.
Get a handle on trade.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital.
Bring back manufacturing.
Bring back jobs.
Strengthen the economy.
Defend the second amendment.
Defend religious freedom.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges.
Rebuild our military.
Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil).

End political correctness.
Take the GOP head-on.
Take the media head-on.
Take the liberals head-on.
And win, baby, win.

All of the above on a shoestring budget compared to most of the 16 competitors he’s defeated (after they spent 100's of millions of donor bucks).

No PACs.
No big donors.
No party support.

What’s democrat about any of the above?
What’s not conservative?
What’s not to like?

And I’ll add a few more:

Redo the horrid Iran deal.
Take a serious look at NATO.
Require our allies to pay more for their defense.

Rebuild the Reagan Coalition and attract blue collar workers by making America first again on manufacturing, trade, secure borders, economy and jobs, jobs, jobs!

Make America Great Again!

Cruz did not give up any conservative principles.

Did Reagan give up any principles when he made Bush his V.P.?

Jim,
Your post is great and is attracting a lot of attention...

You list a lot of hard flagged battle items... but details are missing and still need to be worked out. If these battle items are not carefully thought out, things could and will backfire. Who will be advising Trump? Czars, I hope not!
Will Trump work with Congress or is he going to pull an Obama and write executive orders? Again I hope NOT.

We need to unite our government and work as a team.
Can they do it? Can we do it? Let’s hope so>

If Trump runs on the same platform in the general as in the primary, and wins, then he will be doing what the people want....which is what he ran on and as.

Repudiating both a primary platform AND a general platform damages his "brand" and his stature. That makes him a one term flash in the pan. Hated as he is by too many, his legacy will be absolute junk.

Carter was the last governor who served as President before Reagan. The man’s character, values and beliefs mean much more than what their last job was.

Haven't I requested to you before, not to reply to me because I can't trust that you are even a conservative here and why.

I am not at all persuaded that Cruz is a bad person

Then why did he cheat on his cousin?

or that he is not a great conservative.

Oh, he probably is...except he's a foreigner.

I am 100% behind whoever emerges from this GOP primary. The godless America-hating Marxist democrat must be defeated in November or our nation is toast. We will not survive another of these commie pukes after Obama.

Cruz has been speaking consistently about making sure we unite the party after the convention and we have a nominee. I have no doubt he will support Trump and speak on his behalf.

Trump has been stirring up great resentment to the party and even to popular politicians in it like Scott Walker. Trump is not helping set us up to be united under the GOP brand. Everything he says makes it sound more like he’s setting himself up for a third party “write-in” run. Saying there will be an uproar that will occur if he doesn’t get the nomination is divisive language.

“conservative people like president George w. Bush”

Ya see, there’s the problem. You think George W Bush (whom I voted for TWICE, and used to support) is a conservative. He even called himself a “compassionate conservative”, remember? He made a big deal about it. He had to modify his so called conservatism. As we found out, especially in his second term, that he was no conservative at all!.

But, who really cares. Conservatism as a “movement” and to some as a “religion”, is so yesterday. It never “moved anywhere! It has FAILED!

I will hold to my conservative values. That’s why I enthusiastically support Trump and his, as stated, CONSERVATIVE positions.

Being part of the conservative religion of Beck, Limbaugh, Levin, Cruz, National Review, and Red State, not so much.

I shudder at the nightmarish thought.
