Kirsten: Bruce Jenner is a 66 year old transvestite. Don’t humor his mental illness by calling him “she.” You don’t do him any good by doing that.
I have tried to figure out why Bruce Jenner is doing this. Is it because he feels let down after leaving the limelight of his Olympic career? Is he going through a mid-life crisis and, instead of buying a shiny new sports car, he’s decided to dress as a woman?
I don’t have the slightest interest in following sports, it just does nothing for me. So, I am not a subscriber to SI, swimsuit issue or not.
But I simply cannot understand how this does not blow off minimally 15% of SIs’ subscribers in one shot. Being generous.
I just never imagined that such a cover would appeal to the average SI reader. So the sports media is going all weird too.
If the magazine needs a tall old woman for the cover I vote for Julie Newmar.

Somebody gave me a subscription to SI for Christmas. I never even look at it. Each copy goes into the recycle bin, unread. With this report of what they plan with Twisted Mister, I now know why.
Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner is the perfect poster boy for pretty much the whole world of “sports” other than fishing or hunting.
“Sports” is a huge government program so it’s only fitting that Sports Illustrated is going to toe the government line lionizing the government’s queers or whatevers.
That the NY Post would call HIM a woman tells you something.
BUT if we decide to ‘play’ their game, when confronted with the ‘women make less than men’ just point out that Bruce recently got a chicken dinner and 2500 for a speech while Caitlyn gets 250 thousand or so?
Did Bruce Jenner have full-blown sex-change surgery, hormone treatments, or just start wearing women’s clothes?
