But is it possible that married men have more sex and make more money than their single counterparts? Brad Wilcox, sociologist at the University of Virginia, explains.

I wouldn’t trade all the money in the world and all the travel, booze etc that a single life could offer for the life I had with my wife and family. No way.

I agree, however the legal system makes marriage more of a burden. Any woman can easily game the system to bleed a guy dry and dump him.

Be smart and marry a woman who wants to be a wife and stay a wife, which includes wanting a man who will be a man and stay a husband.
Look in places where you are more likely to meet such women (hint: NOT work or bars)

The legal system KILLS marriage. The risk of losing it all and having a nightmare if children are involved negates marriage.
I am happily married for 20 years, but I have had several friends go through Hell for no good reason in their divorces.
The courts are rigged towards women.

Could a perspective couple sign a M.A.D. pre-nup? In case divorce is initiated, all wealth from both parties goes to charity.

One might make the argument that neither are the women.

Some of the boring ones are. They tend not to be noticeable. They also tend not to follow the social trends.

I'm not sure I would make Don Corleone a role model for men.

Exactly. Say “I do,” and get a de facto life sentence.
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
Pass.

It takes good paying secure jobs, medical benefits, and big money to raise families, buy loans for cars, homes, insurance, mortgages and everything that goes along with all that.
Not happening.

Could a perspective couple sign a M.A.D. pre-nup? In case divorce is initiated, all wealth from both parties goes to charity. That would enable either partner to punish the other at will. It would also enable either partner to violate their vows repeatedly - as long as they could reasonably bet that their spouse would not want to lose it all.
I do not see such an agreement as a positive thing.

I agree with you 100%.
Obviously you are not an impeached, disbarred purgerer who at one time was elected (by less than 50% of the voting population) twice to be President of the US of A.
Good for you!
