The Obama administration is planning to issue a sweeping directive telling every public school district in the country to allow transgender students to use the bathrooms that match their gender identity.
A letter to school districts will go out Friday, fueling a highly charged debate over transgender rights in the middle of the administration’s legal fight with North Carolina over the issue. The declaration — signed by Justice and Education Department officials — will describe what schools should do to ensure that none of their students are discriminated against.
It does not have the force of law, but it contains an implicit threat: Schools that do not abide by the Obama administration’s interpretation of the law could face lawsuits or a loss of federal aid. Source: New York Times

I posted this on a different thread, but I think it’s an important one to think about.
Once again from my perspective this is another in a long series of jabs at the American populace an ATTEMPT to start a civil war here. I can just see ‘them’ salivating for someone, ANYONE!, to do an action that can be spun out of control and force the outcome they, Obama and his backers, really want.
A Civil War and the opportunity for the Federal Government to take over and confiscate everyting they have been desiring for years. And I don’t mean just guns, all property, Real, intellectual anything at all because... Well we’re all thinking people here right?
The Government, Federal and State and Local are bankrupt, broke etc. Confiscate the guns and the property is next. Think you own that land your family has been living on? Nope, think you own and control that money in the Bank or your pension funds, Nope.
They’ve spent themselves into a hole and the only ‘reasonable’ way to get out of it is to fill it up with the citizen’s property taken from the citizen’s.
And this move about transgender bathrooms? It’s going to PISS off someone to the point of lighting that match I keep talking about. Think about it... Summer vacation for the school systems is coming about very soon now. The hubbub will settle down over the summer. Incidents will be planned out and reactions and counter-reactions will be planned and come Fall and the full swing of the Presidential Election will be in play.
Bamm! A inicdent occurs and it WILL be jumped on, have ‘gasoline’ poured on in tanker sized amounts and then Martial law and Civil War ensues. No new President...
So will my scenario happen? I certainly hope not, maybe a Court will slap this nonsense on it’s head in time. But when it comes to the bureaucracy I have absolutely no faith in commonsense. It’s all ideology at the top and ‘follow the rules and guideline’ at the bottom.
Teachers understand there will be a lot less of them “working” without the mass trafficking of these immigrants; how many teachers do you need for the 100 American children in each town? You’d be amazed at how quickly these imports are filling the schools here in NJ; one of my children was in a class that was 50% American, and a few years behind him another’s class was about 25% - in a town where the over-50 population is 80% American.
These braceros are bankrupting American taxpayers...
Because we sit on our butts and do nothing about it.

So few Americans have children in public schools today (or children at all); I expect Obama sees an opportunity because so many public school students are “undocumented” - hence they’ll simply shut up & keep their heads down...
The only way, IMO, is to walk into the ladies room as a regular guy and say ‘today I’m a woman’ and take a leak at your local movie theater or whatever. Play their game. I doubt many are brave enough. You’ve called it out, I may indeed try it once it’s passed as a regular thing.
Apart from the overt craziness, the interesting part is executive authority, or lack of it.
I mean, can the President issue an order to all public schools in America that from now on, all students must wear purple underwear on Tuesdays? Or begin crash immersion classes in Norwegian?

And what about the school boards, all 15 000 of them? Are they now dissolved? Are they relieved of responsibility for their schools, because El Jefe has spoken?

In all seriousness, you can apparently call yourself male or female at any whim, any time, any length of time. Just say ‘I am/was female at that time’ when you went in and took a leak and maybe missed some. Say it’s the law, and the gestapo should back off.
Course you’ll be tried as a sex offender, and you’ll need hundreds of thousands of bucks to ride it up the ladder to keep off the list and out of jail, but someone’s gotta do it.

What people should be doing is be insisting their state legislators exert their 10th amendment powers and tell the fed gov to pound sand. Stop tax remittances if they are bullied like this and tell them to enforce their unlawful orders.

OK, here’s what they can do. Close the restrooms and line up several single occupant porta-potties. Install sinks for hand washing outside by the potties. Nobody will be behind closed doors except for when they are in the porta-potty. Schools are in compliance and perverts lose. The porta-potty companies get more business.
Are you going to tell me that, in some ghetto school where mores are tenuous at best, you are not going to have boys claim to be transgender and then proceed to sexually harass or attack girls? Get real. The lawsuits will be piling up.
