Teary-eyed Cruz: This movement doesn’t go away in one election
The Hill ^ | 05/16/2016 | Caitlin Yilek

A teary-eyed Ted Cruz is hinting that he’s leaving the door open for another White House bid in a newly released video titled "No regrets."

The 5-minute video opens with a campaign staffer asking if the Cruz camp made it “through this without regrets.” “This is nearly a regret-free campaign,” he says. “Ted Cruz didn’t lose. Our campaign for president lost.”

And the movement continues. I just got back from dropping off a Ted in my bathroom.

For someone who has "no interest in a flame war", you certainly are keeping up your end of the replying; though this isn't a "FLAME WAR", as I haven't unloaded on you, as you have on me, in your uber passive-aggressive manner.

There is NOTHING "totally random", nor "WEIRD" about my mentioning patriotism as embodied by our National Anthem etc.! You did a far better job, well, sort of ( sans the continued INSULTS ), of replying to what I had posted this time and what you should have posted originally.

You don't like to share you "feelings" with strangers? You're a COLD FISH! Patriotism and love of one's country is not something to cover up in front of anyone.

Crazy Cruz keeps trying to make news.....hence posters posting about him. If he would endorse Trump ( as is the custom! ), shut up, and go away, like a NORMAL candidate, there would be an end to talking about him. If anything, it is Teddy who is WEIRD and in spades; not to mention delusional, nasty, unstable, and in great need of medical and psych help.

Frankly, that you can't see any of this is just weird.

I'd thank you for the apology, but you then you went for more insults in your reply. LOL

Now go away have have the kind of day you deserve. ;^)

I have no idea what insults you are talking about, I guess you are the sensitive type.

“nasty, unstable, and in great need of medical and psych help.” Indeed.

Take a hike.

Theo, look.

I get it. I get that you’re upset and sad and frustrated that Cruz lost. And you don’t like it when it seems that people are rubbing it in.

I ask that you take a moment to look at it from the other side. It sure as heck looks to me like Cruz is still trying to trash Mr. Trump and all his supporters from his remarks lately and bitterly lashing out at people around him. In point of fact, it looks very much like he’s trying to throw the election to Hillary or at least sulking by refusing his support.

You’d have been furious if Cruz won and Trump refused to support him and continued to make snarky comments for weeks after. Can you see it from the other side?

Oh course you don't know when you insult someone/s, neither do you ever recall to whom you reply. LOL

No, I'm hardly the "sensitive type" ( yet another passive-aggressive insult ) but you sure appear to be one.

Take a long walk off a short pier and should that not work , then go play in traffic.

Thanks....that song kept going through my head as I watched this smarmy, stupid, puerile video. Edith Piaf meant it; Teddy never means anything.

I figure that as a pro-cruzite, rush has proven he has no knowledge of the US Constitution and doesn’t care that cruz may not even be in the country legally.

Lyin’ cheated me, limbaugh can go to hell as far as I’m concerned, I will not listen to him any longer.

He supported every one but Donald, makes me think he is jealous of Donald’s success and family.

My pleasure. Edith Piaf was tough as nails, despite her physical frailty.

I am curious what caused you to eventually push Cruz aside?

This is an iteresting thing to me. Just to get it iut of the way, I voted for Cruz in the primary, I will vote for Trump in the general. Would I be furious if Cruz had won and Trump not support him? Nope. Modern politicians are great at acting like politicians and when we trick ourselves into believing any of them will behave like gentlemen it is only we that lose. Some may be more honorable than others, but gentlemen, no. Cruz is definitely not the gentleman Regan was, but neither is Trump.

This video specifically is, I believe, nothing more than a thank you to people that campaigned for Cruz. Did you watch it? Did you note the sticker on the laptop that said “Hillary lies”? That is not behaviour of anyone that wants to throw the election to Hillary, it easily could have been edited out.

As I said in a previous post, there are sore winners as well as sore losers. Trump himself seems to be a pretty gracious; some of his supporters not so much. If Cruz’ behavior is preventing a unified party against Hillary, then *some* Trump supporters are doubling down on it by continuing to make some pretty outlandish accusations and comments.

I believe Cruz will come around for the convention, mostly because I find it hard to believe that Jeb would have the guts to say he’s NeverTrump and Cruz wouldn’t. I could be wrong and would admit that Cruz is less honorable than I thought.

No.

Java compared Cruz political tactics firing into the TRUMP camp and toward his supporters, like Jeff Sessions, identically in the same way the Palestinian military tactics are found endlessly slitting throats and firing into the Israeli camp.

Cruz is still lobbying tactical political weaponry at US, the people who decisively rejected him, despite his delegate-flipping efforts to force the win for himself, and to hell with the vote of the people. He was relentlessly ruthless.

There is not a speck of graciousness in Cruz. His bitterness came from the fact that Donald TRUMP gave Cruz as good as he got from Cruz first, and what Trump gave him was simply more that Cruz has ever had to endure in his adult life time. PUSH BACK.

Cruz is a globalist, but waving the flag in one hand, the Bible in the other, with the Constitution clinched between his teeth was all it took to blind the flock of geese and bind them to his fakery, excuse his cheating, his globalist enabling senate votes and non-votes.

Cruz was as all-in for “fundamentally transforming America” as Obama ever was. Browning America is the bottom line. From open borders, to the North American Union agenda, through the TPA, TPP, TEE Pee, to H1 B1, to legalizing and rewarding the South American invaders.

It was endless, easily tracked, on the record, and all too obvious for those with eyes to see and ears to hear, but the geese CHOSE to drink in his lies, his excuses and his consistent finger pointing toward others, and they swallowed the Kool Aid.

Cruz has single handedly destroyed the delegate system and intends to cause more trouble at Convention in July.

Methinks even the GOPE will drop the hammer on this con artist and psychotic political climber and clinically proportioned narcissist.

Now. Who will come forward and save TEXAS from this jerk in midterms?

Dewhurst might now have a good chance against Cruz. Ted is more despised than Dewhurst ever was.

Of course he got a standing O. He won his US senate seat with less than 4% of the Republican vote in TEXAS, pardner.

The climber put his bags down in his DC Senate office and thought he should be president!

He’s a native (sort of, if you bypass Canada) son. He churched a bevy of folks in TEXAS and they were the overwhelming number of attendants at the Texas Convention.

He fought hard at trying to overthrow the people’s vote in every primary he could lay his hand on, to substitute their delegates with his own.

I will be trying to get Dewhurst to run against the con man Cruz.

I would say six out of ten at Convention in Texas were more than willing to support TRUMP, over Hillary. The pouting prigs were there also, but just no one cares anymore.

We are about to see the end of Cruz politically. If he weren’t such a brat, he had a chance at the SC. Don’t think it holds enough power for him, frankly. He really wants to be Saint Michael.

During election cycles is when you definitely need to carry the snark tag in your holster.

Nothing much is very funny right now, if you get my drift. Our country is in trouble and on high alert in every heart.

Cruz could have won but his free traitor, h1b pro Iranian nuke votes sunk him. Instead of apologizing and demonstrating that he knew why his votes were wrong, he stood firm. He still refuses to acknowledge his part in losing the primary. Until he grows up he is toast.

GHWB is a leftwing globalist who won in ‘88 on Reagan’s coat tails. There was nothing that could have dragged his lying lips across the finish line the second time.

So, you used to get over 1000 comments attacking you for being anti-Cruz and now you’ve got about 300 anti-Cruz comments on this thread and you equate that to 99% of the forum being anti-Cruz? Ok, you could be right.

Considering I've never even seen you post outside of this thread, yeah, about 99 percent. Also FR polling was around 90 percent right before Cruz dropped out, so another 9 points is conceivable.

I guess if you haven’t seen it, it hasn’t happened. No idea what that has to do with anything though. My point was you have about 2/3 less comments and the best explanation you can come up with is that everyone is pro-Trump as opposed to the 2/3 either not commenting or no longer active on the forum. That seems a little implausible.
