I guess I understand her point. But the battle has to be fought. I wish she would take some leadership on this point.

Someone wants to be VP, and will do anything to get it.
She got her orders, now we’ll see if she gets anything for it.

The lefty way is to probe, probe, probe... this could be a valuable page to take out of their book.
She might just not want to fight all the lefty opprobrium at this point.
GENERALLY, pro-life has wanted to be easy on the mothers as was historically the case before Roe v. Wade. However this is about the docs, so that worry isn’t even germane here.

Gov. Fallin joins the morally depraved side of other genocidal murderers committing crimes against humanity and giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

I’m glad you had the time to analyze the whole thing.

Abortions are not “performed,” they are “committed.”

"In fact, the most direct path to a re-examination of the United States Supreme Courts ruling in Roe v. Wade is the appointment of a conservative, pro-life justice to the United States Supreme Court."
Is that really 'the most direct path'? The SCOTUS doesn't just revisit on its own volition precedents like Roe. There has to be a case in controversy that directly challenges Roe. And laying the groundwork for such a case is the responsibility of folks like Gov. Fallin.
I get the argument that a 5-3 majority of the current Court is going to be unfavorably disposed toward a full-on attack on Roe. And, yet, SCOTUS appointments aren't something that Gov. Fallin can directly affect. She ain't running for President. She ain't on the Senate Judiciary Committee. On the other hand, this law restricting abortion in Oklahoma is something that she can directly affect and something that could be the basis for a Roe challenge down the line. You've got to start somewhere. It seems to me that she dropped the ball here.

From what state is Gov. Fallin?

...I guess I understand her point...
A Bill like this has to have specific definitions and very specific criteria for enforcement. If it leaves alot to interpretation, it can be easily shot down on appeal as void for vagueness.
The OK legislature apparently wasn’t specific enough in its language. If they really want the law, they should try again. I think, he Governor would sign it if it were specific enough with its language.

So, rewrite the bill and pass it again.

I opposed the bill, but not for the same reasons as the governor.
It contained exceptions you could drive abortion on demand through.
Not just life of the mother, but the “mental health” of the mother. In other words, all the hit man would have to do is have the murderous mother sign a form that says that she might do herself harm, maybe, if she wasn’t allowed to have her precious child exterminated.
Fallin’s judicial supremacist views are fatal to any sort of attempt to stop abortion anyhow, by the way. They are a coup d’etat against republican constitutional self-government.

So, rewrite the bill and pass it again. Great idea. And this time make sure it meets the Constitution's explicit equal protection requirements.
"No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law."
"No State shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
