Silly peeps— the smartest woman in the world is so far above using a password.

No wonder there was no longer trace of anyone breaking into her computer. She left the front door wide open, the keys were in the car and the safe was unlocked.

Yes, but that was okay because the server was secure at the family residence.

Or it was in Colorado.

Or Manhattan.

It was somewhere.

If the computer itself was not physically secure, then this is definitely a big deal. Otherwise, I'd like to read a better explanation of why it IS a big deal. The simple fact that Hillary did not have to enter a password does not tell us enough.

How were the passwords provided for booting the computer and (perhaps) for logging on to a domain? Did a staffer do that? Were the passwords in the computer's Windows registry, or were they provided by a password program? Were the emails encrypted? If so, how were they decrypted for use?

This headline is misleading.

As I read the transcript, the computer - that didn’t use a password - was never set up

The quote: “She wouldn’t have had a password.” would have applied to the alternative offered Hillary; it was never implemented.

Go straight to Ft. Leavenworth.

Is ZeroHedge.com a reliable source? Or is it kind of in WND territory?

I'm just checking. From what I've seen of Zerohedge, the site looks kind of 'out there' to me.

I think this is much more shocking:

Aide loses personal BlackBerry

Just over a year later, Mills lost her personal BlackBerry. Emails obtained by TheDC show that on March 20, 2010 she emailed Bryan Pagliano to ask for help in transferring her contact list.

Pagliano was the State Department IT specialist who managed Clinton’s private email system.

Mills appears to have used a Gmail account which was synced up to her BlackBerry. The trove of Clinton emails released by the State Department show that Mills received two now-classified emails on that personal account.

It’s not stupidity, it’s arrogance. Hillary Clinton lives in Hillaryworld. In Hillaryworld other people get paid to take care of security and passwords. She doesn’t have time for “all that s-.”

She Did Not Use A Password

So.

Perhaps a sensor built into her chair? The width of her ass, perhaps?

If he set it up for no password I’m guessing he used something like an rsa keypair. That would mean only computers or devices that had the private key could bypass passwords to get on servers which were set up to honor them with the public key. At least that would be a common solution in civilian circumstances.

The Dims like to make fun of Sarah Palin as an intellectual lightweight but, unlike Hillary, she WOULD CERTAINLY have used a password.

I gave up trying to find a down vote on the anti Clinton comments on that thread. I don’t think I’ve seen that before.
