Former CBS News anchor Dan Rather on Sunday had some words of advice — and caution — for journalists covering presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump.
Rather criticized cable news networks’ wall-to-wall coverage of the real estate mogul and warned that they may have been “complicit” in Trump’s rise to the top of the GOP field.
“What I worry about is, in a way, the media is a political partner, a business partner of Donald Trump,” Rather said on CNN’s “Reliable Sources.”

This is pathetic. Libs jumped onto this meme that "we created Trump" with "millions of dollars of free publicity," and they must think that if they repeat the lie often enough, it will be the truth.
The vast majority of Trump's media coverage has either been negative or simply factual, e.g., he had a rally, gave a speech, won a primary, and so forth. Even most of the CONSERVATIVE press has been negative. Never before, for any candidate, have the media used this "free publicity" argument. It's total BS.
