It was meth, believe me.
Yeah, “victimless crime” makes my blood boil.
Bull. No libertarian advocates or expresses tolerance for violence against another person. The evil idiot in this case is clearly psychotic. What caused that situation is worth determining. If it was caused by mental illness, then perhaps that fact should be taken into account when determining what to do with the perpetrator. If his mental state was caused by an intentional act on his part, like taking drugs, or drinking, or whatever, then that fact should be taken into account, and it weighs heavily towards a much enhanced prison sentence.
From a libertarian perspective, if a drug was known to be able to create such a state of behavior, then the seller would also be liable for the consequences. That makes sense doesn't it? Of course under our current laws the seller of the drug - legal or illegal - has no such liability.
When I worked at a jail we would have to use these every time someone threatened suicide.
As far I as I am concerned he needs to go in the other direction.
Next time it would be whoever it struck his fancy was
“demon possessed” and needed stabbing. Maybe you. Maybe me.
Maybe a child.
” The father should never have unsupervised access to her again during her childhood.”
Never allowed any contact with her. EVER!
It should not be about what THEY want, it should be about what the law TELLS THEM TO DO.
That’s what we were all afraid about. Who was next? Any innocent was in harm’s way until he got into rehab or jail. We tried hard to get him into rehab, but certain things had to happen in certain order before we could have him involuntarily entered. Fortunately, one judge finally understood. Jail was the best place for him, and all of society. Otherwise, someone was going to be in a morgue. It was a very trying family time. Things are a lot better, but I fear will always be precarious because of how hard it is for addicts to stay away. He had a “come to Jesus” moment, so we are praying every day that he stays clean.
He was also wearing a suicide prevention vest.......WTF is that? A straightjacket I could see...but?
Come on - look at the picture. He has way too fat and meat on him to be a tweaker. Someone up thread said bath salts, and they may be right, but acid is a far better guess than meth.
Prayer for this little girl’s complete recovery in every way - body, mind, all.
I hope the boys in the pen exact some justice from tjis yob
Similar to a straight jacket
I apologize, I thought you were referring to my family member’s incident, which was meth induced. However, to your comment about tweaking, do you think they’re all skin and bones? I would disagree.
F&*ker would be DRT if I had been there.
“Holder needs to go up into the sky.”
No I think he’s on the way to a really hot basement. :-)
I think they should given him a rope and showed him what to tie it to instead of an anti- suicide vest. IMO.
Yup. Crank will do that.
If you ever want to be scared for your life, watch someone get violent while on meth. You’ve seen the devil himself.
