An explosion at a restaurant has killed at least one person and injured several others in the German city of Ansbach, near Nuremberg.
Although the cause of the blast remains unknown, early local media reports suggest the explosion could have been caused by a gas leak.
One person has been confirmed dead and at least 11 more are injured.
A nearby music festival has now been cancelled as Germany remains on high alert in the wake of a series of incidents in recent days.
A police spokesman in Ansbach confirmed that an explosion had been reported, but had no further information.
A spokesman for the Bavarian Interior Ministry said it was unclear if the blast was'accidental or intentional'.

Tell them it was a gas leak.
And since the explosion occurred outside the winebar tell them
it was a magic gas leak.

Good grief, that is a little disturbing. After the first six or so I was thinking ‘OK, she’s a bit of a dork.’ But after 29 of them ... yikes!
