At least now the “crack” IRS team investigating this will have an appropriate charge number with which to destroy evidence.

Yes and it also helps insulate Koskinen from charges of being in collusion with the Clintons.
There is another possibility to consider. Could be that the Obamas and the DNC powers that be know Clinton is screwed. This could be Obama and ValJar’s knife in Clinton’s back.
If somehow the Dems know what other shoes will drop from the DNC hack, Hillary’s server, Bill’s partying or Clinton Foundation pay to play, they give Hillary the nomination then swap out with Biden/Warren.
Bernie gave away his leverage by stupidly throwing his delegates to Hillary last evening. Hence the walkout afterwards.
