Paul Ryan supports Donald Trump for president — but does Trump support the Republican House Speaker against his primary challenger?
It was assumed by many politicos that Trump was supporting Ryan in his primary fight against Wisconsin businessman Paul Nehlen, but the Republican presidential nominee put that assumption into question with a Monday tweet.

I wouldn’t. WI GOP voters acted like GOPe sheep in the primary. I expect they will do same in Ryan’s primary and he will win. And House “conservatives” have been quiet as mice while Ryan repeatedly frags Trump. Seems near everybody in his district and the beltway is just fine with Ryan’s brand of faux conservatism.
“The problem with Paul Ryan is his constant knee-jerk reactions to anything controversial Donald Trump might say without completely understanding the issue,” Nehlen’s statement read, in part. “He’s LOOKING for a way to contradict and criticize Mr. Trump because he knows the liberal press will eat it up.”
The problem is Lyin’ Ryan is a phony weasel, and a RINO. Go Nehlen. Cantorize this worthless RINO.

Lyin’ Paul Ryan is fighting for his political life. First, he has to defeat Nehlen, then he has to defeat Donald Trump. Ryan knows that a President Trump means the end of his Speakership. Trump will simply find the 30 or so Congresspeople to deny Lyin’ Ryan his majority. Then Trump installs his very own speaker. Trump talks about this concept extensively in the Art of the Deal in acquiring Trump Tower. He couldn’t get everything all at once so he bought up little parcels of land until he forced them to give him all the property. Paul is losing his parcels and is finished either with Rep. Nehlen or President Trump.
So we should never use any words that the left can pretend are racist or homophobic or Islamophobic or anti-anything?

This is Trump’s way of putting Paul Ryan on notice. He’s been a disgrace. Have we ever seen Nancy Pelosi embrace Republican talking points to attack her own nominee ever? NO. I think Ryan has an advantage but right now if you want to shake things up I’d be sending money to Paul Nehlan.
