Coin toss: Clinton up first at NBC forum (Trump won toss and chose 2nd - Live 8pm ET on NBC & MSNBC)

A coin toss has determined that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will go first during Wednesday evening's Commander in Chief forum, hosted by the IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America) and airing on NBC and MSNBC.

Clinton will take questions from moderator Matt Lauer and members of the audience -- which will largely be comprised of veterans and active service members -- for 30 minutes before Donald Trump takes the stage.

Both candidates stated a preference to be the second candidate to appear.

Dafna Linzer, managing editor for NBC News and MSNBC, performed the coin toss.

The event -- which marks the first time Clinton and Trump will be on the same stage, albeit not at the same time -- will be simulcast live on both networks at 8 p.m. ET.

The media has already pre-written their stories, before the forum is even held, that Trump is not ready to be CIC. You can be certain of that. The left wing propaganda machine is in overdrive.

...too bad Trump goes second.

Had he gone first, he could of (and should have) said a lot of inflammatory stuff that would get her goat, and have her come onstage feeling all attacked and besieged. It well might have made her blow a gasket live, and in color.

I don’t believe there was a coin toss. They KNOW everyone will turn it off before Hillary talks if Trump goes first.

Does she know the questions ahead of time? Do not doubt it.

You’re right...eg. Sec. Clinton, so you have said that Mr Trump is a bigot and a racist and that he hates all Mexicans and Muslims, etc, etc.

Trump has to keep his cool, complement the ones she’s knocking and deftly pivot to a factual point where he can nail her ass to the wall. (in a nice sort of way). There are lots of ways.

He can still do that and that will force her to go on TV and try to refute what he’s said. That’s when she can blow a gasket. He did the right thing.

Let’s see if Hillary makes it through this night cough-free.

************

She probably will. Her media pals will not put any pressure or stress on her. She will coast through the session.

Trump, on the other hand, will receive an absolute grilling. They will interrogate him like he’s a prisoner of war.

He can do the same, on a more long-lasting basis, by simply replying to her lies with truth.

She’ll think it’s hell.

What is this nonsense where they are not both on stage at the same time?

Hillary: Softball questions and single sentence answers. In, out, baddabing.

Trump: Complex and tricky questions and follow ups that require lengthy responses.

She's only going to be on stage for 30 minutes, so she has a reasonable shot at making it through okay. Then again, her coughing spell in Cleveland started at the very beginning of her speech. If she has another prolonged coughing spell tonight, it will be very difficult to spin it as "allergies."

Just remember who these Effers are! They are no friends of Trump! Kudos to Trump though for continuously braving the Lions den! Trump has claimed he will instead host a fundraiser for “veterans and wounded warriors, but the Republican frontrunner has not specified exactly which groups he would be supporting. The Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America — which represents 150,000 veterans across the country — says they do not want his money. On Wednesday, the founder and CEO of the IAVA publicly slammed Trump for what he sees as a cynical, political move.

Trump needs to make sure the Clinton Campaign doesn’t stack the audience. He also needs to have a plan to counterattack the Liberal Spin after the debate that will say Hillary Won etc.
