This polll shows Hillary "won the debate" but it shows several other much more notable things. Note that this poll was taken all post debate:
Very few people changed their minds. Of those who changed their minds 2% (Undecideds) changed towards Trump.
1% changed from Trump to Hillary. 1% changed from Hillary to Trump.
Of the rest, 48% say they're going to vote for Trump, 43% for Hillary.
Trump won on trustworthiness, strong leader, and even "cares about people like me"
Guys if this poll is remotely true, Hillary is toast. She will never do better and Trump will only get better in these debates.
The Reuters poll is D+8, so they are really closer to dead even
do you have a source for that? Is that the entire population or just people of voting age?
just curious. It sounds high with so many kids being pushed to college over the past few decades.
Looking forward to November 9th, when the only person she will be looking smug and condescending to will be Bill, once a quarter or so.

That is exactly right. Trump will only get better and Hillary has topped out. She will not improve. If anything she may screw up and lose some of her supporters.

They are probably trying to “tweak” their polls to fit there narrative. They will most likely have to have the dimoKKKRATS at 50% in the sample rate.
The line that has stuck with me is the one about having had 30 years to do something.

I am sure if they had great Hillary news coming out of the debate, it would have been put out by now. Since a few days have passed, I expect liberal media outlets are spending their time manufacturing a fake Klinton lead right now to put out later.
I also understand that maybe a couple of days past the first debate is too soon. However, those daily trackers actually show a Trump uptick.
If you want to call it that. All polling (as Rush pointed out with the study that gave the exact same data to five pollsters and got five different results) relies on turnout assumptions.
The split screen was intended to disguise her height disadvantage, in fact she was larger in her frame than Trump was in his. If they move away from split screen they’ll have to go back to giving her a foot stool.

Hillary got her expected debate bump, in the RCP average of anational polls.
October is kitchen sink time against Republicans and thathere are land mines ahead.
Trump will do his performance clean up and give a more prepared come back, right on time.
