Justin Holcomb |Posted: 9:30 AM Share (25) Tweet Big League: Trump Leads for the Second Straight Day in New Poll, Nearly 50% Donald Trump has maintained a national lead over Hillary Clinton for the second straight day in a new Rasmussen poll that showed him trailing by seven on Monday. He now leads her 43 percent to 41 percent.

And one of the more important statistics from this poll is that 87 percent now say they are certain how they will vote in this year’s presidential election, and among those voters, Trump leads 48 percent to Clinton's 46 percent.

Trump also earns 77 percent of the GOP's support, while Clinton carries 76 percent of her own party.

Republicans are becoming more and more likely to side with Donald Trump in November rather than the Washington establishment.

Lol! PPP asks 20-30 questions every poll like “which do you like more? Bed bugs or Donald Trump??” They cannot be taken seriously and I have no idea if they asked this kind of stuff four years ago.

Rasm. is at variance with a lot of polls I read about elsewhere. A glance at google news suggests Trump is far behind in numerous polls and it’s all over for him.

Beyond the internet, in my corner of PA, I...well, I saw another Clinton/Kaine sign today. That makes four this week. :)

It is in line with Dornsife and PPD.

Ben Stein and Cavuto are having a discussion that sounds as though it’s Nov. 9th. Hillary is president-elect. Cavuto teeing up the ‘what went wrong questions’, and Stein performing the autopsy.

I’ve never seen an election called this far out by so many pinheads.

I take comfort in knowing that when all the ‘experts’ and talking heads are saying the same thing.... they almost always end up with egg on their faces.

Trump should also publicly remind Obama that he has no authority to send American planes to fight in Syria. He should demand that we wait till after the election to do anything and let the American people decide if we want a war with Russia. We have NO national interest in interfering in Syria’s internal conflict.

Now, Reuters is saying that Trump is down 7 points!

The propaganda just keeps coming!

The RNC will institute a ‘superdelegate’ system like the Democrats so another Trump can’t get nominated.

Good point, Doctor Freeze. But I have to wonder if there is any such thing as a “legitimate” poll any more — aside from the internal polling done by the campaigns.

I live in ‘nice white liberal’ central here in St. Louis, or at least I was crashing in this area during election season. In 2008 I saw no end of Obama signs. In 2012 I saw fewer but still enough Obama signs.

Now in 2016, I have yet to see a single Hillary sign OR bumper sticker. I’ve seen a single Bernie sticker, but nothing else at all.

Trump has 77% GOP support while Clinton has only 76% Democrat support? Even conservative media go on and on about a civil war in the Republican Party but say nothing about the sizable number of Bernie voters, conservative Democrats, and Democrats who dislike Hillary within the Democrat Party and won’t vote for her.

It’s been so long since I heard a democrat I thought just might be telling the truth. Maybe Zell Miller on national defense?

GWBush went the ‘no response’ route and it killed his presidency and the next 2 election cycles.

How well I remember that. It was infuriating! He would just lay their like a rag and take the hits. It got him no credit.

As I learned in my own life at a young age, when a bully strikes out at you, you punch back. Grinding their face into the pavement is satisfying, and they learn to think twice before trying it again.

Bottom line: These polls are going to probably remain ludicrously biased up until election day.

Nailed it. As far as the left/GOPe are concerned this is total war, any rules, ethics or laws that might interfere with the categorical imperative to stop Trump are suspended for the duration. They will pay any price to save globalism.
