I think I have the answer. Per the 12th, majority of those appointed (electors). Thus if 4 are missing, only 534 total. Thus majority is 268 not 270.

If this be the case, the max. no. of electors Trump can get will be 301, since only 33 in Texas will vote for him (the jerk Supron is in the room) and he loses five from the 306 he won. Something must be rotten in Texas.

I think two are absent and the two ladies that he mentioned at the beginning were declared ineligible for some reason.

How texas replaces electors I am not sure.
