I think this “timely” revelation is a cover up.
They are simply throwing out a bone to cover up the likes of Bush, McCain, Comey, and who knows who else.
It’s phenomenal what LOU is willing to say out loud. He has crucified Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell, Flake, McCain, Corker, etc., for months. So fun.
I fast forward through HANNITY to listen only to his guest’s responses, and the Circa reporter, the American Center for Law and Justice lawyers Jay and his son Jordan Seculow, and The Hill reporter and Judicial Watch are all spectacular sources of breaking developments.
(If only repetitive and maddening Sean would shut.his.mouth and ever let them speak, we could learn sooo much more!) I hate to watch him, but his guests are leading in the battle against the media leftists, so I record him without fail.

One of my outriggers failed and my brain is listing to the Right after reading this. Not sure what to make of the WaPo printing this story.
That is darned near proof that McCain was coordinating with Hillary.

That is entirely possible, as well. There is always the standard operating procedure of “LOOK OVER THERE, not over here” tactic in play.
We need to find out exactly how McCain got the document in the first place, and know who gave it to him. He and Comey need to be brought before congress to testify under oath about their role in the propagation of this scurrilous scandal.

Standard Clinton MO. Leak the bad news first, to sympathetic journalists, to get ahead of the story.
Doesn’t change the fact this is a disaster for the Dems. When Fusion was stalling the release of the client’s name, I thought it would be some bigwig Dem donor, not the Clinton Campaign/DNC themselves. !

Read it again. It had previously been reported that the dossier was originally commissioned by a Republican until the primaries ended at which point the funding was continued by the Democrats. This was always understood to be a partisan document. That the DNC and Clinton campaign both provided funding is not a bombshell, it’s not even particularly interesting. But the Post did take the opportunity to inject superfluous “details” that aims to boost the credibility of the dossier. Consider the reporting of the dossier’s origin and how the original focus was not on Russia until Steele “discovered” an apparent abundance of Trump/Russia ties. This creates the impression, without verification, that the Trump/Russia entanglements are so numerous and obvious that they cry out for investigation. Curious that none of this bounty can be mentioned by way of example, or evidence. It doesn’t get any better from there. There is an old story that LBJ wanted to spread a rumor that his election opponent had carnal knowledge of a pig. His campaign manager looked horrified and protested that no one would believe that. To which LBJ replied “know one has to believe it, just make the S.O.B. deny it
That is what is happening here. The media will talk about it because the fact that it is being talked about works against the President. Instead of scoring little points about the funding of this dossier, we need to put the whole thing to bed.
Isn’t it a wonder how special counsel Mueller and his hand picked power team of ex Clinton lawyers dug up the facts so quickly on the Russia and campaign diddling fiasco. Oh, that’s right the all powerful Mueller and Co. have produced nothing, the dnc/Clinton/russian/dossier collusion seems to have had it’s can of worms opened by congressional committee investigation.
The walls are starting to close in on the Swamp and Hillary. They are going to get squashed.
