Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro caught speeding at 119 mph

Fox News host Jeanine Pirro was pulled over for speeding in upstate New York after she was clocked going 119 mph in a 65 mph zone.

The New York Daily News reported Pirro was stopped by a state trooper in Tioga County around 1:15 p.m. Sunday.

Pirro, the host of "Justice With Judge Jeanine," said she was on her way to visit her ailing mother but vowed to "pay the consequences."

“I had been driving for hours to visit my ailing 89-year-old mom and didn’t realize how fast I was driving. I believe in the rule of law and I will pay the consequences,” Pirro said in a Fox News Channel statement.

New York's Department of Motor Vehicles says a conviction for going more than 40 mph over the speed limit could put 11 points on a driver's license. Eleven points will lead to a license suspension.

119’s nothing.

On the 101 in the Valley at 119, somebody will tailgate you.

Early morning hours of course.

I have a small BMW and can easily get to 95-100 and not realize I’m going that fast if I’m on open interstate. It scares me actually that I can do that because I really don’t want to speed that much and it’s dangerous. It just feels like 70 MPH but still at 119 at some point you gotta know it.

It’s hard to see the speedometer when you have DDDs. Not her fault.

I think triple D’s should be classified as airbags..

Maybe she thought the speedometer was metric and she was only going 119 kilometers an hour.

The bigger cars make people a lot braver over 100mph. And all those big German sedans will do 140 easy.

Quiet and stable.

On a wide open road driving alone, why not?

For ‘hours’?....................

No not for hours.
It said she had been driving for hours not 119 for hours.
Gesshhh, only an idiot would declare to a cop they were doing 119 for hours which she was not.
Certainly not an Attny unless they were Hillary

I once got stopped because the cop claimed I left the traffic light at 40 mph in a WW Beetle....Ahahah, couldn’t have worked the gear shifts that fast....He looked so mean I kept my mouth shut. Other times very nice cops let me go easy, once driving fast without insurance papers...ouch, that was close.

Back before traffic got heavier and the CHP started using radar on CA interstates you could set the cruise control in the 100-110 range and drive for hours. I did Richmond CA to Edwards AFB in 4:53 and it was about 475 miles. Also made Redding from the same origination in 2:10.

Those were in a Saturn SL2.

I spend a lot of time at FOX with my job. She’s easily one of the most arrogant of any of the hosts, most of whom are very welcoming.

That holds for state roads in Nevada and Montana. At least it did back in the 60s. But upstate NY? No way.

In most jurisdictions in Canada you will get charged with “stunting” for just 50 kmh (30 mph) over the limit. The potential consequences are:

- An immediate roadside suspension for 7 days.
- A court is able to impose a license suspension of up to 2 years on the first offence and a suspension of up to 10 years for any subsequent convictions.
- Fines of $ 2000 minimum and a maximum of $10,000.
- Imprisonment, up to a maximum of 6 months.

“I had no idea how fast I was going”

BS

“I didn’t think there were any cops around.”

There we go.

Have you been to Upstate New York?
There’s a lot of nothing in Upstate New York.
Basically wilderness between Syracuse and the Canadian Border.
