It is what it is. Trump has turned out to be acceptable by many that initially rejected him. On the other hand, Trump knows that to accomplish any thing legislatively, he must have all the Republicans.
It appears there is consensus on forging ahead to do that which can be done. Absent 60 votes in the senate, that is very little.
Traditionally, Senators were supposed to be representative of their states, and not cut to fit one national mold.
