One shot pony show with Little Kim the Third, as no more summits are necessary... unless there is a Korean Unification in the works. The issues on the table at this summit must first be productive and working between the diplomats and business folks. There must be an economic component to these negotiations that make NK breaking this deal too painful for the nation to continue to function by itself, coupled with a military security component that takes the Nork threat off the table. Joint Nork-South military units and ship deployments could work.
Grandstanding by Kim, what Trump should say is that he will visit once all the nukes and the program are verified gone - to help the N. Koreans celebrate.
It’s already a done deal.....these have been already in the works for some time...even years should this day arrive..and most ‘south’ Koreans don’t want a Unification in the same sense as we would see it. That would be very slow coming as they do not want a mad dash to the borders of neither the south nor China.
So of course there will be further summits ‘In the North’ as the people there need to adjust to what is happening for real.

There is a time and a season for everything in God’s plan and purpose. The point is not to understand the timing of every season and circumstance in life, but to trust God ‘when they arrive’.
China's choice was as clear....either get on board or it's war.(Remember the bomb dropped while Xi was having dinner with Trump) There was no middle ground any more. The last thing China wanted as well as Russia was a war in N.Korea that would destroy the country.
This is all coordinated so that Kim gets the recognition of a leader to his people outside the country...so that he can continue to retain his leadership over a people who see him as God....the country mist be as stable as possible during these changes.

As to the invitation, if it’s factual, I am surprised. Does it mean this is a done deal and now we work out procedures? Or, is Kim going to offer little today, but tease? What was the reason for Pompeo downplaying expectations earlier today?
I’m simply watching it unfold, no opinion yet...except it’s astonishing it is even happening.

Very astute observations. The differences between East and West are shown in subtle ways. When successful agreements are forged it seems each side received something it felt extremely valuable - not in terms of big items (trade, de-nuking, investment, security ), but something meaningful...
