IIRC, the “deemed passed” thing was mentioned by Pelosi as an option for approval of one of the parts of the Reconciliation Bill. The House definitely held a real vote for the Senate version, with enough of the avowedly pro-life Democrats (including Bart Stupak of MI, who had a 100% pro-life voting record prior to such vote) voting for it to pass. The bill passed with zero GOP votes; Republican Joe Cao, who had been elected in a fluke over corrupt Dem William Jefferson in a 75% Democrat New Orleans-based district, had been the sole Republican to vote for the House version of Obamacare (which denied funding for abortion), but he refused to vote for the Senate version that lacked such prohibition.
Time to Kick McConnell’s butt and Ram it through the Senate.
the shutdown will last a matter of weeks at the most, as usual - at the longest, until the freshman class arrives; but if we don’t get a win, then ‘migrant rights’ will become a political issue for the socialists that think they are taking over the country. Consider that NYC has over 1MM illegals - transpolate that thru the east coast and the left coast and illegals being a political issue is not where we want to land. Our base needs to be running on Trump accomplishments, of which there are many, not red diaper baby commie socialist emotional-tweeking distractions - which ‘migration’ is.
I don’t think Trump ‘blinks’ when he’s dealing.....unless it’s on purpose.

Enlarge your idea of a wall......all areas will not support “a wall”....there are already high and large slated barriers, (BTW what the border patrols requested) going up....the work has been going on for awhile now. But what will be used will depend on the ground, terrain and where it's going.
