Hurricane Dorian battered St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and brushing Puerto Rico. Taking aim at the Florida Atlantic Coastline, Hurricane Dorian is projected to be a major hurricane (Category 3) at landfall.

Ill stick with the NHC. They are like the TSA of meteorology.

My aunt in Rockport realized that she had OnStar and that was the only way she could get out.

She may be more than just a little tired
You’re a real charmer.
Thank you, Nautinurse, for your incredible diligence in posting the hurricane threads. I’ve been on your ping list for years and I don’t even live in hurricane country but check in to learn and because freepers do live there.
Anyone being rude to NN should leave the thread alone.
Pravious, I believe in stabbing people from the front, so they see it coming. That said,, I have reported you and your boorish behavior twice...care to go for a hat-trick?
Looks like it has pretty much stalled. Is there even going to be a Bahama islands when Dorian leaves?
Also, do they really have a clue where it will go after the stall?
Its bad enough to watch freepers who should b brothers and sisters in arms getting into cat fights w personal attacks on one another on a regular basis these days. However, when someone is truly performing an important, maybe crucial public service such as NN is by hosting these storm threads then anyone who seeks to distract and hijack the thread while she is performing this valuable service should just quietly go away and start a thread of their own and see who follows. Enough pls
A storm of this magnitude can take on a life of it’s own, goes where it wants, forecasters be damned.
This video shocked me. People are probably drowned on Abaco. Hope all evacuated to higher ground in time.
NN lives in Brevard .
The storm is close and nerve wrecking .
Its personal .
Everyone cool it.
That is the prediction .
It would stall and head north .
