For instance, Democrats are constantly calling for the elimination of our embargo on Cuba, yet the press acts as though they would be surprised to learn that it was a Democrat who put that embargo in place to begin with.

It seems to me they are either owed to "regular" people, who are being stiffed, or large companies which are not pressing for payment in hopes of getting consideration in some legislation or increased influence in the Rat party.
A Retrospective on Johnson's Poverty War
Mises.org ^ | 12/31/02 | Adam Young
You'd be amazed at how many liberals think that weath is something that just happens. There's this big mountain of goodies that just appeared by chance or accident. Unfortunately the nasty, evil, white, male Republicans got to the pile first and took most of these naturally abundant goodies. If you don't believe me, just go to Dem Underground where this idea is prevalent.
Democratic and liberal ideas about higher taxes, big government, gun control and social issues such as abortion and gay rights are conveyed through the broadcast networks and major newspapers, which editorially endorse them. Still, liberals think they need to compete with conservatives on talk radio to convert more voters to their points of view. The big media sincerely believe they are not biased, despite numerous surveys and best-selling books that prove otherwise...
Liberals are especially uncomfortable with people who worship God and not the state. Most broadcast programming and reporting in big newspapers reflect these biases.

And don't forget hidden taxes and and regulation costs that are on EVERYTHING. GMC does't pay taxes, they simply raise the price of their vehicles
What incredible nonsense. This proves yet again that these people are up to no good. . They are hoping that most of the sheeple are stupid enough to buy it.

THE CLASS WARFARE BEGINS!
http://boortz.com/nealznuz.htm ^ | 1/7/03 | Neal Boortz
Carl Cameron, the Fox News' Washington / political reporter, was talking about the Dem's pre-emptive budget/economic plan, and he made a statement along the lines of "and their press conference was full of the standard class-warfare rhetoric."
The era of the "evil man made me do it" is pretty much exposed for the lie it is. They did not give a damn about anything other than "public criticism" of sinkjob when he did his "put some ice on it" act in the oval office.
That is a very good take on DemoRat strategy. Another way they can use this to advantage is when it dies in committee or is defeated on the floor, either one, they will demagogue it as Republican 'obstructionism' in order to placate their base. They can sound outraged about it making it seem like 'they tried to do something' but 'the gun nuts and Republicans stopped us' which will help keep the slaves on the plantation. Or so they hope.
...if she doesn't know how much money the US taxpayer has given to sh*thole countries over the years then she is utterly incompetent to serve in the Senate...
...Republicans from George W. Bush to Jesse Helms to Newt Gingrich have been pounded for far, far less. No one can deny this...
Ricin Find Puts Britons on War Footing at Home

Remember, the Palis have been soaking their belt bomb nails and screws in (anticoagulant) rat poison to increase blood loss lethality. Ricin would be FAR more deadly. Remember the speck which killed the Bulgarian. Even the tiniest ricin soaked fragents would be fatal.

Zimbabwe in danger of reverting to medieval-style feudal state in 2003
ZWNews ^ | January 8, 2003 | Michael Hartnack (written 31 December)
As Zimbabwe enters 2003, the entire formal business sector is being driven underground and the elite of Robert Mugabe’s Zanu PF party are acquiring revered names on the company register at fire-sale prices; several hundred, perhaps several thousand, evicted white farmers surreptitiously try to keep some production going, risking jail terms; independent journalists live in a nebulous state; and the only daily newspaper not controlled by the state is in trouble.

They never cite a specific example of where Bjorn Lomberg messed up, fabricated data, altered citations, or offered interpretations at variance with the evidence. They just smeared his good name in general. This from the same people that nodded and winked at the academic imposter named Michael Bellisles who who wrote the historical hoax of the 21st century. Lomberg isn't being convicted for getting the science wrong but for challenging the conclusion of the politically correct environmental orthodoxy. His inquisitors hope their caning him will shut him up and deter others from going against the PC mindset that reigns in the Ivory Towers.
The purpose of the study was not so much to discredit Lomborg as to provide a locus for greens and leftists to cite when they say that "of course Lomborg has been completely discredited."

But serious, balanced discussions aren't the type of thing that many frothing-at-the-mouth right-wingers like to engage in. They greatly prefer one-sided blather that doesn't require them to think too hard...

I'm a Canadian, and not a hunter or shooter (though I'm not totally unfamiliar with firearms), and this really angers me. This useless program - I was listening to an interview with one of its biggest proponents, and when pressed, she couldn't name a single certain way that this registry would reduce gun crime - originally supposed to cost $120M and be mostly self-financing, has now cost nearly $1B. But of course the gov't doesn't mind wasting over a billion dollars of taxpayer money, despite all the existing programs that need the money, as they know they can always come back to us for more.

It would appear that the students have a taping capacity and when a VIP like a real U.S. Senator comes around they tape the occasion. Which is really too bad for Murray's supporters, who have been trying to portray this as some sort of thought-provoking encouragement instead of the blatant propaganda the tapes reveal.
My final point is, lets keep this vidio/audio soundbite in the public spotlight. The more people see with their own eyes what a dingbat Patti is, maybe the sooner we can get her out of office. We should also mention that Patti and Bagdad Jim McDermott are a liability to all freedom loving Americans, and must be booted out of office.
It's almost growing more "legs" every day. Let's hope it keeps spreading- her so-called "defense" tonight on H/C was almost hilarious, if it didn't make me physically ill.
Democrats have nothing substantive to offer America, so they resort to their standard class warfare attacks. With no power whatsoever, Democrats have turned ugly and mean spirited.

We are not "terrorists."
The problem we have is that if a white person points any of this out, by writing an editorial like this, that person would immediately be branded a racist and attacked verbally and in print, by all the usual suspects. Unfortunately, it is very difficult for whites to do much on this one.
We need more Niger Innis's, J.J. Jackson's, Cinnamon Stillwell's, and folks like that, speaking the truth and making the black community realistically confront its problems. What the white community can do is support folks like these.

The left is frantic because they see all the gains that they made under Bill Clinton slipping away. During the nineties, the people were drunk on phoney economic prosperity and were didn't care about much else except their next drink. 9/11 changed all that. The resurgence of nationalism and patriotism has brought movement toward the Third Way to a standstill and that is the real reason that the left hates George Bush, both here and in Europe.

One could build the best possible defenses against intercontinental ballistic missiles and miss that possibility. I think as long as there are countries out there -- and there are -- who are as clearly determined as they are and they evidence it among other things, I mentioned the amount of resources they devote to being able to attack us. We need to be thinking ahead of them. We need to be thinking out of the box. We need to remember that there was a time when we said, I believe it was March of 1962, that it was inconceivable the Soviet Union would put missiles in Cuba. Investigators now believe that much of the $2 million that disappeared from the WTU's bank accounts was used to fund the extravagant lifestyle of union president Barbara Bullock. FBI raids of Bullock's home indicate she was using union money to buy $600 alligator-skin shoes and a $25,000 mink coat to complement custom-made suits, not to mention a $13,000 television, with drinks from a $6,800 ice bucket adorned with swan heads.
