And now for something completely different....

The Shadow Government!

But in all seriousness, this folderol about a "Shadow Government" is crap, and the reaction of the tinfoil hat crowd to the story is hysterical, to say the least. This is prudent Nuclear War planning, that's all.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Actually, I got the distinct impression that he was spoofing the tinfoil hat brigade.

Seriously now, do you really believe that anybody could subscribe to such a plethora of drivel?

Imo, fwiw, Windy Dave is either: (a) Copying someone else's work without acknowledgement (as suggested by another poster); (b) A humorist worthy of placement alongside the likes of Twain, Menken, O'Rourke (sp?) and Steyn, or (c) so far outside the bounds of reality as to make Texas's own Sheila Jackson-Lee seem like a latter-day Aristotle by comparison.

Your choice of (c) is certainly an attractive one, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and go with (a) for now.

Thank you very much. The truth is out there -- if somebody goes looking for it.

However, there are some who refuse to accept the facts, as we can see on this very thread.

This one really chaps my a$$. You know damn well that Daschle must have voted for funding this 3 or 4 times and Gephardt 8 or 10 times in the last 20 years. Of course they never actually get around to reading the legislation that they dump on us.

What's more, you have to know that if WP had discovered that there wasn't a shadow government in place, the lamea$$ media and DemoRats would be whining about that.

Spoofing tin foil. Maybe.

All of this talk about Shadow Governments and NWO and Tin Foil is stimulating. But I'm afraid the Shadow Government doesn't have a hole deep enough to protect itself from what may one day come to pass. I'm not a prophet. Just someone who was part of a very interesting conversation one evening in '94.

I was with a group of friends, drinking and, if I remember right, watching a race on ESPN. Well any ways the conversation turned rather political as it would sometimes do. One of the group put forth the scenario of China/Taiwan and challenged us to come up with solutions for a successful invasion of Taiwan. What ensued was one the most interesting albeit scary discussions we ever had. It still comes up in conversations from time to time.

Our conclusions; China and Taiwan will one day be reunited. Don't argue. THEY WILL. Since China/Taiwan are a political fault line, the longer the tension builds the greater will be the shakeup when the time comes. What held China back was it's technological inferiority. It was agreed that if China were to advance technologically, all bets were off.

As the years went by and we would hear news reports of technology transfers to China, a head would shake and the inevitable "stupid %@#*'s" would be uttered.

Any ways, here's the solution...

China sends a large force with North Korea south. This is just a diversion for the Chinese but the Forces in South Korea including US troops will be overwhelmed. This would be be synchronized with attacks on Taiwan and, this caught all of us off guard... ALASKA.

For those who say "well, we'll just nuke them!" If the Chinese didn't use nukes preemptively on the West Coast using them against their forces in Alaska will insure a smoldering West Coast. One way or the other California is a pyre.

Someone argued(I think it was me) that China would never make beachhead. To which I was countered. Waves. Like Normandy. Waves.
Once a successful, well supplied beachhead is established the balance shifts. Just ask the Germans.

America will have to abandon Korea and Taiwan for self preservation. China succeeds. But this is where it got interesting.

China has it's #*&@ in America's arse. Take advantage. China is a nation with a government enforced breeding program that ensures millions of hungry, horny young men with not nearly enough women to go around. Promise them American wives if they're successful, give them millions of AK 47's and ammo and point towards the East Coast.

If you think you're going to stop them with hunting arms, think again. I had an AKS 47 with steel core ammo in my younger years and I know first hand the savage efficiency of that weapon. The Panama Canal is blocked. The Pacific Fleet Carriers are sitting ducks once they've lost most of their planes.
During the invasion they will stick to the cities as shields against attack and will resupply off of the fat America has to offer.
Eastward. Eastward.

America in panic is drafting everything in sight and recalling troops. But with our weakened Industrial base, supplying them with sufficient arms in time is hopeless.
Eastward.

The capper came when someone mentioned the book of Revelations. America, the greatest nation in history isn't in Revelations he said. Unless you accept that America is Babylon the Great.
Either way, he said. America either no longer exists at the end time or it falls as part of it.

This isn't tinfoil folks. It's called strategy. The Chinese are not afraid of us. Look at how your leaders cowtow to them.
We are afraid of them. And for good reason.

Sleep tight America.
There isn't a hole deep enough to hide in with this scenario.

Hey, don't they still have that place in West Virginia that looks like a hotel above ground? They can steal a couple of hundred million from us to refurbish it.

They don't need to refurbish it. The Greenbrier is a first class resort. Too bad the word got out that it was a bunker.

The former government reloction facility had the code name "Project Greek Island," and was designed to house the members of Congress in the event of a nuclear strike on Washington.

Yeah. It's old and it's under the Hotel and it's NOT NUKE proof. Sounds perfect for the Whiners.....

Yea, what a dump! I wouldn't mind bunkering down in this 'old place'

Had the pleasure of spending a few days there some years back. Horseback riding on beautiful trails, skeet shooting, bowling, sauna, 5 star meals. Not Bad! Indeed, VERY GOOD.

Understand the HOMESTEAD on the other side of the ridge is also quite nice. Wonder if there are connecting tunnels??

I wouldn't tell them either. I can't think of a bigger collection of egomaniacal blabbermouths than the US Congress. Add to that the Socialistic tendencies of the left along with their outright hostility to President Bush and the War on Terror and you have a huge security problem. Keep the sh*theads in the dark. VERY WELL SAID.

Keep them not only in the dark, but preferrably gagged and upside down in the cesspool of their own making. . . as fitting sentence for their treason. . . . and rampant theft--of property, national sanity, national morality and truth. . . . though certainly they've had plenty of help in the media, universities and too often even in the churches and for sure in a lot of "rank and file" organizations.

I can see teddy leading the charge, but, would he be driving?

Using, obviously, the term "driving" very, VERY LOOSELY. . .

but then what could we expect from a pickle brained, fossilized old fart with subAntarctic granite for a heart pretending to be a bleeding heart. . .

You won't find me suggesting tin-foil hats for you. . . your elaboration adds to my understanding. THANKS. I had felt there were factions in the rush to world gov but had not researched in recent decades enough to more than guess at that.

I'm still thankful that God has it ALL in control and will end up laughing at the wicked. The above left out the part the satanic forces will be playing. . . no small part, for sure. . . and which of the factions the satanic forces are putting most of their energies behind. . .

And which of the above are most involved in what the Bible calls the deception so great that IF it were possible it would fool even the most committed, most earnest believers who will evidently be protected from such delusion by Holy Spirit revelation. I've read plenty of speculations on such.

I don't think much of anyone sees more than through a glass darkly--INCLUDING those at the core of the top groups of such forces. God is a good general. He doesn't telegraph HIS plans too much beforehand.

Given how the Cross and Resurrection caught satan off guard, it should be interesting to see what all God has "up His very Big sleeve."
