Saudi cleric says peace not possible with Israel

    By Inal Ersan
DUBAI, April 19 (Reuters) - A top Saudi Arabian Muslim
cleric prayed to God on Friday to "terminate" the Jews and urged
Arabs and Muslims to abandon efforts to make peace with Israel.
"We must say farewell to peace initiatives with these people
(Jews)," Sheikh Abdul-Rahman al-Sudais told worshippers at the
Grand Mosque in Mecca, Islam's holiest shrine, in a sermon,
carried live by several Arabic television and radio networks.
He prayed to God to "terminate" the Jews, whom he described
as "the scum of humanity... the rats of the world... prophet
killers... pigs and monkeys".
The sermon by Sudais, one of the top imams at the Grand
Mosque, was unusually fiery in a country largely seen to follow
moderate foreign policy and to be a close ally of the United
States and other Western countries.
Arab anger has been on the rise since Israel launched its
military offensive on the West Bank two weeks ago at a time when
Arab nations adopted a Saudi proposal for peace with the Jewish
state.
The Saudi government is closely interlocked with the
powerful religious establishment, but religious sermons do not
necessarily reflect official government thinking.
Saudi Arabia, the world's largest oil exporter, has been
increasingly critical of the United States and its apparent
failure to bring about a ceasefire in the Middle East.
It has recently allowed pro-Palestinian demonstrations to
absorb popular anger in a country where other street rallies are
banned.
         UGLY WAR
Sudais, who ranks high in the Saudi religious heirarchy
which allows only senior clerics to preach at the Grand Mosque,
said Israel was carrying out an war of "ugly annihilation"
against the Palestinians.
"When the (Muslim) nation opted for peace to achieve its
greater interests they (Jews) did not reciprocate," he said.
Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah is due to visit the United
States next week to discuss the conflict and the peace offer
with U.S. President George W. Bush -- seen by many Arabs and
Muslims as biased in favour of Israel.
"World leaders, you who claim to be fighting terrorism, what
do you call what those people did to Palestinians?" asked
Sudais. "Are the aspirations of a billion Muslims to safeguard
their sanctities considered terrorism?" he added.
"They (Jews) want to establish a greater Israel with
Jerusalem as its capital and they aspire to tear down the
al-Aqsa mosque (Islam's third holiest shrine) to build their
so-called temple on its ruins," he said.
He urged Muslim leaders to "rescue Palestine before it is
lost."

And don't forget the 'Saudi Peace Plan.' The peace of the grave for Jews, is what they mean.

Saudi cleric says peace not possible with Israel

I couldn't agree with the cleric more. But that's because the Arabs don't want peace with Israel, not the other way around.

I truly feel sorry for this Saudi cleric.
His throat is like an open hell hole.
I hope he repents if his hatred of God's people before he passes away.

True, but they don't condemn it, either.

The royal family is increasingly afraid of the clerics, and it won't be long before the clerics feel strong enough to call the royal family degenerate. At that point, the House of Saud will pack their suitcases full of cash and haul butt out of Saudi Arabia one step ahead of the executioners.

It's bizarre that the New York Times and its ilk have always been critical of Saudi Arabia because they connect it with Big Oil, and with conservativism, and all that bad stuff. But as soon as the Saudis really started acting like Hitler, the media clam up. I don't expect to read about this sermon in the mainstream press anytime soon. Typically the newswires carry this for an hour or two, and if you miss it, it's gone. If it weren't for FreeRepublic a lot of this stuff would never be seen at all.

You can see it coming now. It won't be long...

Let's do some math here:

800 ... Estimated number of Israelie nukes
-1 ... Nuke to terminate Islam's holiest shrine
---
799 ... Nukes remaining for other scumbag Arab targets

I'll put my money on the "termination" going the other way.

his hatred of God's people

And this is just the rub isn't it? The Arabs just can't get over the fact that God said, "in Isaac shall thy seed be called . . . " and not through Ishmael.

Nothing else accounts for the intense hatred of the Arab/Muslim for the Jew, although they do not have an exclusive corner on this market.

Why don't we just cut to the chase and do a Normandy replay in Saudi? Instead of begging monsters like this, or those listening to them, to let us please rattle Saddam's cage ("we promise, we can bash Israel too, please oh pretty please"), just take the place and start cleaning house. Let's see how much bombast they've got in them looking down a 120mm smoothbore. The whole mad screaming pack of them are bluffing. Don't just call, raise them.

That's right. As the Bible tells us, the Devil hates and seeks to destroy the Jews and will instigate any people he can.

All those who reject God are potential recruits.

But as you point out, the decendants of Ishmael (Arabs)also have an ancient feud with the Jews that is personal.
They are obsessed with envy and jealousy of the Israelis.

All mullahs and imams are just as bad, even the ones in the USA who don't say this in public, say it in private.

I don't think many of us around here had any doubt about this from day one.
