WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Bush and top members of his administration mingled and shared laughs Saturday with Washington reporters, insiders and some outsiders -- including famed British rocker Ozzy Osbourne -- at this year's White House Correspondents dinner.

Comedian Drew Carey was on hand to provide the entertainment during the more than three-hour event, doing stand-up comedy for the president and more than 1,800 guests, from top White House adviser Karl Rove to hard rocker turned reality show star Ozzy Osbourne.

Your posts prove you to be an absolute idiot. Ozzy is pro 2nd Amendment and pro Bush. Why don't you do some research, you freaking assclown.

Once again, have you ever read any of Osbourne'e lyrics, or are you just repeating what Benny Hinn told you?

I'm sure you haven't seen it since it's been on TV post 9/11 and you seem to have stopped living since then.

Which is exactly what Osama and his scum al-Qaeda followers want. Good job caving in to the deranged idiots, Rambo.

Why give credibility to someone who obviously has some serious character flaws?

Yikes..... like the thief on the cross or MaryM the prostitute, Moses the murderer and so on and so on.........

You'd be shocked at the number of conservatives in this forum that like hard rock music. I'm 33 years old, female, vote Republican, and my "mind of mush" has an IQ of 138. I like Ozzy and Metallica; I also like classical and jazz. You might want to check out if your assumptions are true before you spout off.

That goes for any entertainer but especially Ozzy.

What about Ted Nugent?

I completely agree with you. Bush made a fool of himself and Dick Cheney.

"If you polled the military about whether or not the President should attend the White House Corresondents' Dinner, I would be willing to bet you that they would vote 'yea' by more than 3 to 1"

more like 30 to 1

Are you mad that he was at a dinner party, or that Ozzy was there? Would it have been ok if he was yukking it up with Gordon Lightfoot?

Ahhh, I don't want Bush hangin' out with no freakin' CANADIANS now. *grin*

If you look at the photo I posted in # 3 it starts out by saying "Ozzy Osbourne (R) ... ". I thought "Wow, AP is now identifying celebrities by political party". But instead of the (R) meaning Republican, I'm sure it means that Ozzy is standing to the Right in the photo. :-)

I wonder if Ozzy ever got American citizenship or not. If so, it'd be great to see his voter's registration!

Like I said earlier, our boys are over fighting for our Freedoms and the shrub is partying it up with the likes of Ozzy Osborne and the MTV crowd...

*snort* Yeah, the White House Correspondents Dinner guest list is virtually indistinguishable from that of a typical day's taping of TRL. In fact, millions of teenyboppers stayed home last night to just to watch C-SPAN! </sarcasm>

Shouldn't we expect more from our president than to publicly acknowledge Osbourne? We would probably be slamming Clinton for it, so why not Bush? Hasn't he set himself up as a moral leader?

How is respecting Ozzy at a WH press dinner not moral?

"you're wrong about me not having a moral obligation and right to judge this vulgar, profane creep. I suppose you are part of the 'thought police'?"

uh, what's wrong with eating live animals? or let me guess, you're vegan?

no really though, what specific things (not thing) does Ozzy do that you find vulgar? is it his lyrics? which ones? i think lying politicians, news anchors and halleluiah hair TV frauds are way more vulgar and damaging than anything Ozzy's sung.

"Okay, O.O.'s a british rocker who lives in the USA, where does he stand on gun control and the Second Ammendment?"

i think this question has been answered pretty well here by now.

You hated Bush before the dinner, so how is your opinion not affected by that fact?
