SICK OF THE DEMOCRATS' CRAP!
Self | 5/16/2002 | Self

Posted on 05/16/2002 10:53:26 AM PDT by SunStar

I am SICK of the Democrats and the bullsh*t.

Every week they come up with new attacks on President Bush. But their attacks are simply ludicrous.

We've heard about how the evil Republicans are using a photo of President Bush speaking to the Vice President from Air Force One on September 11th, 2001, and how that is a "unconscionable" act. Ridiculous! JFK, Johnson, Truman, and other Presidents used similar photographs in the past to sell themselves as leaders. Why is this not brought up by anyone other than Fox News? Why do these crybaby tactics on the part of the Democrats work?

And then you have today's Democratic attacks/talking points that the Bush Administration had prior knowledge of the WTC and Pentagon attacks... Why? Because the FBI released a warning about possible airline hijackings by Bin Laden supporters. And? Did they warn that the planes would hit the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001? No. Did they indicate where and when the planes would be hijacked? No.

And who initiated todays attacks on President Bush? Tom Daschle and Dick Gephardt, who RECEIVED THE SAME WARNING from the FBI. Are they somehow responsible for the September 11th attacks? No. But that doesn't stop them from attacking President Bush, attacking some more, and attacking again.

And the idiotic media laps it up like Dog Chow, and then spews it out for mass consumption, without explaining that these attacks are NOT newsworthy, or remotely relevant to reality.

I am sick and tired of the Democrats controlling the discussion and spinning the B.S. without any repercussions. I am SICK of the Democrats. When I think of the Democrats, nausea kicks in.

Just my two cents.

And the Republican leadership just lies back and takes it.

No, they haven't. Rumsfeld was on Rush's show, Lott said that all had been briefed in the same manner, Kyl was on TV saying the same thing.

Your attack on the leadership in this instance is unfair.

Sun..I also am sick of the barrage of attacks that the dimocrats keep launching.

It seems as though nothing has struck a cord with the American people.

This latest ignorant rant is typical, and, like you said, it was told to Senators as well.

Makes me wonder how this will all play out in November.

Why the hell are the democrats pulling this crap? Bush is leaning too far left for them to be complaining. They may make him mad and he may start acting like a Conservative again! When will these idiots ever learn.

Regardless of whether Congress had a briefing on the subject, it is still the President's job to see that the appropriate agencies have instituted the specific security measures necessary to try and prevent the attack from happening, if possible.

For example, even though it was known that AlQaida was going to highjack airliners, there was no alert to the airports to keep mid-Eastern types off of the airliners until they could be vetted, which would be the logical thing to do.

I'm not going to try and protect the Republicans here, but this forum and others like it are the best places with which to show the Democrat's tactics for what they are, baseless and low. Its up to everyone of us to spread this knowledge far and wide that the attacks are just that.

Each time you mention this to another person, be it Republican, Democrat or independent, you chip away at the credibility of the Democrats. Until pretty soon, doubt sets in and the person starts looking for these types of tactics and starts informing others about it.

Good luck with keeping all Arabs of U.S. airplanes. Ever hear of the ACLU?

As long as the public tolerates the lame-stream media, they will keep on shoveling their $hit.

Don't know where you live but I get WLS radio out of Chicago. We now have Sean Hannity on from 9:00 p.m. 'til midnight. Every night he takes on some dim bulb liberal/Rat and he takes no prisoners. It is SO great to hear someone who asks them the hard questions and tells them flat out that they are hypocrites.

Yes, but discrimination is still illegal, is it not? You can't just "keep mid-Eastern types" off airplanes. Substitute "black", "Christian", or "female" into that equation and see if it flies.

I watched CNN for about an hour this morning. Their commentators were going nuts with this stuff. It was all very much in align with their political stripes.

I think this will die out in a day or so when it is shown that Congress had this same information pre-9/11.

They may make him mad and he may start acting like a Conservative again!

If we get the Senate, and keep the House, we just may see that.
I don't hold much hope on seeing that before November.

I listen to Sean Hannity and other conservative talk radio, as well as watch Fox News and MSNBC. The problem is that the Demcrats set the discussion agenda by spinning their web of lies, and conservatives are forced to defend against these idiotic charges.

If a Democrat makes a bogus charge, it should be dismissed in under five minutes and put to bed. It should not be the "news" for the next full week. It's just absurd!

They do not compare this with JFK, Johnson, etc. because to them W was never elected president. Major League World-View Distortion in permanent effect for dems and media-ores.

Ask the ACLU why we couldn't keep Middle Eastern young males off flights.

I can't believe you said that! Even AFTER September 11th, we're not allowed to keep Middle Eastern Types off the airliners. It's not PC, dontcha know?

It's all about CONTROL. The DemonRATS want control in November. Forget the fact that Bush is playing the moderate and giving them much of what they want. What the REALLY want is CONTROL of the Congress. They are still bitter over the 2000 election. They lost and they want it back.

They're just a bunch of crybabies.

But Bill Clinton with his big 38% of the vote was somehow granted a mandate by the media... Go figure.
