Iraq is considered the cradle of civilizations. Hence tourism has met mans desire in knowing the unknown and being acquainted with other civilizations. Iraqis are of the unique countries which have integral tourist supply. To meet this supply and the increase in demand for it, the need for the development in the tourist sector emerged as far as the preparation of the scientific plans and the comprchensive tourist survey of its tourist constituents are concerned. I think in any war, old historical sites with no military relevancy should be considered OFF LIMITS. Just think of the information we could have if the library at Alexandria hadn't been destroyed.
