He actually said call in Carter to keep the Koreans busy with a carrot while we pull our boys out of the beaten zone and then out of Korea entirely.

I like that plan.

That plan sucks a$$ and reeks of moral and national cowardice. Thousands would die in the ensuing Korean War II.

Better plan, glass North Korea.

He just called the Koreans the most dangerous humans on Earth

Geez...he used to call the Serbs the most dangerous humans on earth. He needs new lines.

Did he say how running away keeps North Korea from developing nuclear weapons?

I like that plan.

Then what? We leave the South Koreans defenseless?? Now that would be a memorable point in history for the U.S.

You know, we now have ample evidence that this man should be ignored. I suggest Fox News dump him as a consultant and give David Christian more air time. Hack has gone round the bend.

You're right...I sent an e-mail to that effect a couple of weeks ago after seeing him on Hannity and Colmes. Maybe we ought to do an e-mail Freep on Fox News.

I saw him on H & C the other night. He certainly is an odd bird.

I am all for it. He is often presented as the MILITARY side, but if ever there was a defeatist, morale-busting SOB, it is Hackworth.

And I do not use strong language lightly.

So do I. We are in a very dangerous position in South Korea. We have enough forces deployed there to suffer a lot of casualties, but not enough to turn the tide against a DPRK onslaught. Defense of the Korean peninsula would require immediate and massive reinforcement, which would not be possible if an attack came while we were fully engaged in Southwest Asia. We would have to resort to nuclear weapons.

Making matters worse is that the South Koreans don't think they need us anymore, and they don't want us there. So I agree with Hackworth -- if we can't adequately defend South Korea or our own troops deployed there, we should pull out and let the Koreans settle their own affairs.

This is as sad as when we watched John Glenn sell his soul, and reputation, to Satan for a ride on the Space Shuttle.

The problem with that plan is that it involves Jimmy Carter. If you want to carry out a delicate stalling plan, don't use an idiot as your point man.

It's damn time we started using some of the weapons we have in our National Arsenal. When we turn some of these despotic nations into glass sculptures and show the rest of the world that harming an American will cause massive death and destruction, civilization will be better off.

I'm beginning to question this man's sanity.

He's okay. Just hyperventilating.

There was a time when I used to "hang on his every word", but the last six months or so I can't believe the cr*p he is spewing. Don't know if he suddenly went nutso, or if he's on medication, but whatever it is, he's 'round the bend!

Helen Ratner, Your World with Butner, just happend:

With a sadistically cheerful attitude, Ratner responded to Butner...

Butner Q: What do you hope happens [with the war in Iraq]

Ratner A: "I hope he[Bush] messes it up, so he isn't re-elected.

Butner Amazed Q: What!...

Ratner A: Begins weak back peddaling effort...

Ratner is a traitor bitch...someone get the transcript of this...
