You mean to tell me that gun-control didn't stop the murder? We all know that the victim is less dead than if he had been shot to death.

Pity they didn't run up against my Aikido Sensei. He is a sword MASTER. Even with just a Bokken (wooden practice sword) or heck even a simple walking stick, he is sudden death in every direction. Sensei is making me a deal, he will teach me the sword and I will teach him the gun. We both get something and made firm friends in the process and that's what life is all about. I think.

This calls for "crime control"...ya! Registering a crime beforehand gives the criminal a chance to back out of it....and if not, it gives a sporting chance to the police force to catch the crook. And in exchange for compliance...uh, criminals get lighter sentences. Which of course is boon to the taxpayer.
I think I can run a liberal political platform...shazaam!

Gee. How did I know that one of the very first posts would not show any sympathy for this man's murder, but instead mock the gun control laws of Britain??

If the victim had a .44 Magnum he might still be alive.
