I hope you can all join in the fun. Please try and make at last one of these and bring a friend or two. I have heard rumors that a group of college republicans from CU may join in Longmont.

I must regretfully announce I cannot attend.

I will be paying tribute to my grandfather, who passed away this week, a WWII veteran.

Another lost from the Greatest Generation.

You'll be in my thoughts, though.

Anyone care to FReep in the heart of the beast, namely Boulder? Any FReepers down in Colorado Springs? Well gang, here is your chance:

Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003 - Anti-war rally at the Boulder County Courthouse, 14& Pearl Streets, Boulder at Noon-1:30 p.m., followed by a march on the Pearl Street Mall. Bring your signs, puppets, etc.

February 15, 2003 - Statewide Anti-war rally in Colorado Springs in conjunction with the International protests that are being held in at least 16 cities world-wide. The rally will be at Palmer Park, Maizeland and Academy, from 11 AM to 3 PM. The organizers are advising people to bring a lunch, lawnchair, and signs; and to dress for the weather. After the rally, there will be a march to Academy Blvd. and hope to line it from Carefree to Constitution, a distance of 2-3 miles. Sponsored by the Colorado Coalition Against War in Iraq and hosted by the Pikes Peak Justice and Peace Commission.

The leftists are so nice to give us advance planning details.

The leftists are always up to something, check this one out: RICE FOR PEACE, send Bush rice and he will call off the war.

ALERT: Rice MUST be packaged in a strong PADDED ENVELOPE or Box ... READ MORE
Rice For Peace
No War On Iraq

In the 1950's, tens of thousands of people sent small bags of grain to President Eisenhower to encourage him to send food to then-enemy China during a famine. The existence of the campaign helped dissuade Eisenhower from attacking China during two international confrontations. Now a nationwide effort has been launched to send a similar message to President Bush about Iraq: If we are going to send something to Iraq it should be food, not bombs.

Send a half cup of uncooked
rice in a plastic bag and
padded envelope with the
message "Rice for Peace
- No War On Iraq" on the
outside of the package.
Mail to:

President George Bush
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW
Washington DC 20500
E-mail us your city and
state so we can count
your message for peace.

Please tell your friends about this campaign.
Thanks for your participation!

I am quite sure that tens of thousands of suspicious packages are going to make it to the president's desk. Can you say US Post Office and anthrax in the same sentence? Maybe they will all be returned to sender unopened.

I had a phone conversation this afternoon and rumors have it that there just may musical accompaniment in Longmont. Stay tuned! It could get patriotically noisey in downtown Longmont.

I will keep you posted.

A few weeks back, a great personal risk (snicker..), I crossed the street to the 'other' side and provided them with literature on how to participate in the Warm Up Greeley campaign.

I thought given their signs of "Feed and Clothe the World" and their incessant chanting of the lefty mantras of help for the needy, that they would be right there willing to donate their time and resources to help the needy in Greeley.

Surprise of surprises! Not one from their side showed any interest in making a donation. They're a bunch of phonies who need to be exposed.
