Tuesday Feb. 11, 2003; 8:36 a.m. EST Pelosi Doesn't Deny Black Rape Slur
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., refuses to deny that she slurred African-Americans during a conversation about abortion with former Congressman Robert Dornan, according to a published report Tuesday.
"What would you do if one of your daughters was raped by a black man?" the California Democrat replied, according to Dornan, when he raised the question of her Catholicism and her own five children during an encounter in the 1990s.
"I said, 'Nancy, we're both Catholics with five children.... Why would you advance abortion?'" Dornan recounted during a recent radio appearance, according to Tuesday's New York Daily News.
Pelosi's response was to invoke the noxious racial stereotype of blacks raping white women.
A press aide to Pelosi told the News that the top Democrat had "no response" to Dornan's accusation, leaving the story to stand without contradiction.
Pelosi's remark may have had its roots in the early days of the pro-abortion movement, when the practice was sold as a way to control inferior populations.
Early reproductive rights crusader Margaret Sanger was a staunch believer in the Hitlerian concept of eugenics. Sanger reportedly advised her followers to enlist black preachers to spread the practice of abortion throughout the African-American community to keep their numbers to a minimum.

A young friend of mine was date raped and got pregnant. Her little girl brings much joy to her and to her parents. No excuse to kill babies. Sorry. There are people out there who would gladly adopt. M

Unfortunately, the white suburban soccer moms (also Catholics) vote pro-abortion/Democrat because they believe this, as well.
And yes, I've talked to several - they are teachers!

This is a statistical fact, not a stereotype. But, of course, we aren't supposed to say so. Do you have some statistics on this?

The White Aryan Resistance's official position on abortion, in part: "Among non-Whites, invest in ghetto abortion clinics. Help to raise money for free abortions. Abortion clinic syndicates throughout North America, that primarily operate in non-White areas and receive tax support, should be promoted."

Actually, I thought white males were statistically higher in violent crime towards women than men. This would also include domestic violence.

I'm
shocked (it's not just bad cosmetic surgery that gives me this wide-eyed look of surprise) that you would think I'm a racist and a fool just because I said I'd kill the child of a black man!
To: BibChr
Splain that to me.Easy. Pelosi=slave to her party=principle on back burner=power and position worth killing for.

She used the term "black man" because, knowing that B-1 Bob is a conservative, she assumed that he was a racist. She was trying to play on his assumed prejudice against Blacks,This is EXACTLY how I perceive her comment.
I read through the thread first to see if anyone else picked up on it.

Please elaborate, for those who don't listen to NPR.

Something to the effect (
and I am paraphrasing the late President LBJ on the tape as exactly as I can) about a joke re: "now this black boy gets caught in a closet by an angry husband who came happened to come home and found him with his wife."
And the President's punchlist was something like "the angry husband yells, 'why you black son of a _______, what are you doing in there (the closet)?', and that black boy responded (LBJ going into his 'Amos n Andy' here), "well, everybody gots to be somewhere!" Then one long, approving hardy har har by the President laughing at his own joke (and laughing on the other side of the phone line....some Senator I think).
If a Republican had such a tape released today, even if he were long in the grave such as LBJ, the national media in the US would slander his sorry arse as a racist up one side of the country and down the next for weeks on-end.

This was on an NPR Radio show over the last weekend, something called "The Lyndon Johnson Tapes". As I said, the exerpt is very clear, and it was recorded I believe some time in 1965.

Really? Where do I find the statistics that back that up? The FBI statistics on crime show that white on black rape is extremely rare, and black on white rape is extremely common.
BTW, I don't mean to imply agreement with the racist notion that all black men are lusting to rape "our wimmin." That's just stupid.

God bless your friend! I can only imagine how difficult it would be to carry a baby after a rape. However, the pain and guilt of an abortion would be just as bad, but no one ever tells these women that.
If a child is conceived during a rape, it isn't the child's fault. If the mother has difficulty accepting the child as her own, adoption is always an option. There are many wonderful people who are waiting to adopt. Both choices -- keeping the baby or putting her up for adoption -- are loving choices. Murder is not a loving choice.

I found the following on another website. It indicates that interacial rape is relatively rare, but that to the extent it exists, it is almost exclusively a black on white crime, rather than reverse. A white woman is about 70 times more likely to be raped by a black man, than a black woman is to be raped by a white man.
>> The same FBI report showed that in 1999, less than one-tenth of a percent of black rape victims were raped by whites. In that same period, 7.3 percent of rapes of white women were committed by blacks. That translates to 20,003 rape victims.

I agree. The mother is, now, having problems regarding the rape itself. The man put something in her drink and she doesn't remember much about it. She had enough problems emotionally before this and this certainly hasn't helped, but she's a good mom and the little girl is wonderful. I'm so glad she didn't abort her.

"No big deal, she didn't use the N word."
Neither did that South Western airlines Flight Attendant-or Lott either for that matter. Yet it the "N" word was implied and deliberately intended and thus is the same as saying it, according to the banshees who howled Lott out of his position, and by the lawyers who plan on using the innocent rhyme by a flight attendant that offended two sister's delicate sensitivities, to tap into the profits 0r even the operating capital of SW Airlines.

Cruz Bustamonte did here in California and all was forgiven.
In fact IIRC, it was in front an NAACP audience. Does anyone remember if this is correct?
