Ask him what is better...Intellegence or wisdom. Ask him what is more effective...Talk or Action. Ask him what is most appreciated...a Smooth Lie or a Hard Truth. Ask him what is more valuable...Self Awareness or Historical Perspective. Ask him what is most attractive...Cowardice or Courage. Then ask him what he would prefer in a leader...A Self-absorbed, Smart Talking, Smooth Lying Coward or a Wise man of Action, unafraid of the Hard Truths of History.

FILTHY RICH

The Mega-rich now pretend to be for the poor man, to be for fairness and against greed. They get into power that way and any attempt to pull them down will be perceived as "mean spirited." The poor will now protect them fiercely. (What a wonderfully self perpetuating plan, don't you think??) Once in power they protect their mega-wealth by international investing and special tax loopholes. They keep the poor happy by taxing the wealth of the middle class worker and small business owner so their own wealth is not effected. The result... the mass population is content so the wealthy populists can get to the business of getting richer by placing the tax burden on America's 120,000,000 middle class. The best evidence to back up our claim is the actual wealth of your liberal representative. Most of them are the richest people in the Congress, Senate and Hollywood. They write tax laws that make the middle class Democrats and Republicans pay for the majority of the taxes. This is the truth if you wish to check it out thoroughly. That's not to say that it could not happen to the Republicans if they were in power for too long. You see, the problem is not Liberal or Conservative, IT IS SOCIALISM Right Or Left

More problems with the liberal/socialist agenda: Government fraud! (The King and his servants taking their cut.) Once the mass population has been talked into paying high taxes for their conjectural "own good" it is very tempting for all government officials to dip out of the big money pot. The accounting systems of the U.S. are very tight so not too much funny business can go on within the U.S. but as many small time corporate thieves have learned, the best way to embezzle money is to send a check from their company to another company that has a friend waiting. The same tactic is used to steal billions of dollars from the America tax payer every year..."FOREIGN AID." In order to steal from this vast cache of taxpayer wealth they must get the money out of the country by giving it to some other country with friends waiting. Once out of America, U.S. accounting laws do not apply and a great portion of this foreign aid money ends up in Swiss bank accounts,Something that isnt happening in this administration

Clinton legacy

It was NOT George Bush Policy to Sell China Sensitive Military Technology

What Al Gore has just announced to the world is that the U.S. Navy has no more such secrets. They are as open to the Chinese, Russians and Iranians as they are to commercial interests, environmentalists and scientists. Don't you feel safer now?

Executive Orders have a proper place in federal rulemaking and in implementing the routine business of the executive departments. But Clinton has discovered that Presidential Executive Orders function in a Never Never Land of almost unlimited power, and he is pressing the envelope to move his agenda, both domestic and foreign

And thats just a start

Clinton had no policies to criticize

Clinton did not lead. Bush does. Clinton polled, trial ballooned, denied, lied, .... until he was on the majority side of any policy. Fiscal policy was determined by Greenspan and many actions were forced by the Republican Congress.

PRESIDENT BUSH LEADS! Even today ,in fact, after the worst terrorism this country has ever seen, our economy still manages to grow (slowly, but still grow). Bush's policies have begun to rebuild our strapped military that was fiscally and morale-ly bankrupt after 8 years of Clinton's popularizing with thinly stretched "peacekeeping" missions (Remember Somalia! - Blackhawk Down wasn't just a movie - it was our first tangle with Al Qaeda and the Bin Laden that Clinton had no reason to later take into custody) (CNN) -- Before there was Afghanistan, there was Somalia -- and the U.S. military's first "battle" with forces linked to al Qaeda, the terrorist organization run by Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden.

Clinton's legacy will be the same as that of the 90s, irrational exuberance. Clinton enjoyed the fruits of Republican tax cuts that led to the investments that brought us the 90s. With that, Clinton did what? Did he fix health care? Did he reform Social Security? Did he improve Homeland Security even after the first World Trade Center incident, Oklahoma City or various warnings? No, he dropped his drawers and saw to it that Enron had plenty of seats on trade missions, saved us from the threats of Bosnia and Kosovo (sarcasm), made international news when he used near military force to resolve a child custody issue, attacked his own people in Waco, worked the Middle East into a frenzied, polarized mess, virtually ignored bin Laden's repeated attacks and declaration of war, pardoned felons and stole the silverware on his way out the door.

That anyone could consider Clinton a serious President with more than his own pleasure and profile in mind is beyond help.

LOL - you beat me to it. Just call him Al Bundy Hildy.

To counter your "friend's" suggestion that the terrorist pigs waited until Bush 43 to get back at Bush 41, you need simply list the terrorist acts against America that occurred under the Toon. They took a shot at the WTC before Bush 41 came into office and failed. The Toon did nothing. They bombed embassies. The Toon did nothing (save for lobbing a cruise missile at an empty tent).

The Toon taught the terrorists a simple lesson: There are no repercussions for terrorism. In North Korea's case even, the threat of terrorism would even bring rewards (another unrelated mess that Bush now has to clean up).

It took Bush 41 more time than necessary to get prepared b/c the Toon's Veep, Algore was too busy counting chads and the toon delayed transition talks out of spite. Then, the Toon's immature staffers trashed the whitehous, breaking keyboards, screwing up the WH phone system and commiting other acts of outright treasonous vandalism. The Toon and his gang took nothing seriously, assumed there were no repercussions to any act of debauchery and essentially shirked all responsiblity in an effort to be liked - respect be damned.

Bush took the high road and chose to "move on" rather than bring these criminals to justice, which some of us questioned at the time. Yet Bush in his maturity and concern for the rest of us probably recognized that America had more pressing matters to attend to - many of which had been callously ignored by the Toon b/c the Toon knew full well that brain-dead sheep like your friend would never have the ability to see who was responsible for the lack of attention to our security needs.

Now, Bush 41 is cleaning up the Toon's mess. He is like the responsible parent that came home after the irresponsible one let the kids run amock all day. The kid's think this parent is the bad one, and all their little kid friends agree, but the mature adults know why he has to do what he has to do, and will respect him for it.

Part of why nothing happened while Clinton was there is because the "arab street" was getting everything it wanted. Clinton was an appeasing useful idiot that sent Carvil over to use the same manipulative methods to get Barach into office. Once there, he twisted Barach's arm ot make a settlement no matter what the terms. Clinton's trouble is that he is so corrupt that he cannot see ant difference between the Arab and Jew positions. To him they are just two teams in a contest. The Arabs KNOW this and did everything to keep Clinton in the drivers seat, including letting Clinton put in some attacks, as long as they were ineffective.

Bush came along and brought in Cheney and Rumsfeld and the rest, and a new additude about right and wrong, and the Arab street said "Oh damn! We gotta get these guys outta there!" The rest is history, except that it will be many years before we untangle all the intrigue of involvement of all the Arab groups in the region.

In this situation, Jews who vote for Democratic candidates are merely speeding the process whereby the Democratic Party becomes the natural home for anti-Semitic sentiment.

Why do the communist Jews side with the pro-Iraqi, anti-US communist organizations?

HIS WORDS:

put all the blame on Clinton if you wish because he has always been the pawn

PAWN!?!

PAWN:
1 : one of the chessmen of least value having the power to move only forward ordinarily one square at a time, to capture only diagonally forward, and to be promoted to any piece except a king upon reaching the eighth rank
2 : one that can be used to further the purposes of another

LOL!!!

And they say that Bush is the idiot? Poor Bill; outmanuevered again (/sarcasm)

But seriously, Bill CLinton is recognized as one of the foremost "politicians" (to our detriment IMHO)(and with all of the smarmy connotations that have ever been attributed to that word) that the 20th century has ever seen. He was BY NO MEANS "fooled". He knew what was going on, micro-managed, and played everything to HIS benefit - ALWAYS!

Just another liberal moron who thinks everthing bad is republican. That Enron was all conservative businesss dealings.

The fact is, had Clinton remained in office somehow, the Enron debacle and others would have continued on as they had for the previous eight years! They had no oversight. They were brought down by the Bush admin, not supported as they were by Clinton!

Clinton even helped Enron get the big contract with India that broke their bank!

What party do you think stomped all over accounting regulation each and every time it was brought up! It was not the republicans! The accounting industry is in the democrat camp!

The only honest liberal business owner that I can think of is Bill Gates.

And I am not sure about him at all.

Hildy, ask your friend what the purpose of the federal government is. Ask him what the president's constitutional duty is to this country. I'd be willing to bet he can't answer that correctly.

Your freind is a Liberal.
Just like an Alcoholic, or a Drug Addict, he cannot be reasoned with.

You can only pray for him to recieve Revelation, and, like the Alcoholic near death, be "brushed by the wings of an angel".
This will probably take an event so traumatic as to challenge his core Liberal beliefs.
Let us hope it is not an event that costs many lives.

I don't know if this will help you but I have some family members and good friends who are liberal. With some of them we live too far away to regularly visit and others live close by but don't visit all that often. When we do see each other we don't talk politics. I enjoy seeing them and their children so much that I don't want to say goodbye on bad terms. They know my conservative involvement and that I am staunch about it. I figure it this way, with me they can see a level-headed conservative who defies the liberal definition of what a 'right-winger' is all about. If they ask me anything I answer honestly and I get an occasional phone call asking me what I thnk about something. It took a long time to get to this point with them, but it works for me.

Oh! Is Jon Corzine now Republican? He is one of the richies who retired from Goldman Sachs (believe that was the investment firm) with 400 million. John Kerry, Dem, is one of the richest. In fact by far the largest number and the richest legislators are Dems.

I'm afraid, however, your friend's husband is into denial.

You are correct that the Jews best friends are conservatives, including fundamental Christians. The fund. Christian belief is that Israel is God's chosen people, and He will bless them. As believers in Jesus the Christ, Christians must acknowledge and stand for His people.

I am constantly amazed at how many Jews are so very liberal. Don't they understand that Europe almost decimated them?

Remind him Osama's forces were in America training and planning the 9/11 attacks during Clinton's tenure. Osama made the decision to strike America before Bush 43 was even on the national political stage.

Clinton made the decision not to nab Osama during the beginning of his term, because he didn't want to deal with the hassle. He lived completely for the moment, and put off any long-term thinking. He chose to do that, it was his decision, not the result of pressure from the right. He ignored Osama bin Laden, he ignored Kim Jong-Il, he ignored Saddam Hussein--until the sex scandals, when he tossed out a few cruise missiles in a vulgar and completely transparent attempt to distract the public.

He keeps telling me that Bush is dumb. He's so stupid and dumb. I asked him if he thought he was smarter than Bush. Of course he said yes. I said, "Then why is he President of the United States and you sell shoes?

This whole "Bush is Dumb" concept is one that President Bush really likes, and it serves him well. Being underestimated over and over again. Rememeber how "smart" Gore was, versus how "dumb" President Bush is? Two things to think about: President Bush got an MBA from an Ivy League school, and you can't be that dumb and fly fighters in the Air Force (even the NG).
