Calling All Freepers!-- Making an Appeasenik Crimes List. Please Help!
Me | 18 Feb 03 | Me

Posted on 02/18/2003 1:19:43 PM PST by Mr. Silverback

I am putting together a list of "Appeasement crimes against humanity" to hand to local "peace protestors" at the next Freep. It will also be posted in an FR thread as a handout for people to use in their Freeps. Here's the list I have so far:

American appeaseniks told us Hitler was a European problem. French and British appeaseniks derided people like Winston Churchill who advocated a tough stance. On both sides of the Atlantic they considered the problem solved when Neville Chamberlain returned from Germany declaring, “Peace in our time.”

Appeaseniks opposed any consequential action agaainst Japan by the world community while Manchuria and China were raped.

Appeaseniks’ activities which lengthened the Cold War (by preaching detente-at-any-cost while tens of millions were murdered) are too many to list here.

Appeaseniks waited only a few days to begin telling us that September 11th was our fault, and that we weren’t in a war, but a law enforcement situation. This was perhaps the first time any political movement has ever described the slaughter of 3,000 civilians as a “law enforcement” problem.

Appeaseniks opposed the overthrow of the Taliban. We were told we would end up in a Viet Nam-style quagmire, that we would cause tens of thousands of civilian casualties, cause massive terrorist attacks against the U.S. homeland and make the Afghani people hate us bitterly. We destroyed the Taliban as a military force, caused few civilian casualties despite the Taliban storing their military equipment in residential areas, experienced no more terrorist attacks and witnessed the Afghans dancing in the street.

"IAC/ANSWER opposed the serbia bombing"

Exactly. The Stalinists of the Workers World Party are in favor of Milosevic and every other totalitarian leftist that has come down the pike.

Did any one mention Clinton/Carter's appeasement of North Korea?

Not yet, but that will go on my list!

Just found this over at www.ejectejecteject.com:

In this, I am guardedly optimistic due to our recent victory in Afghanistan. Not the military victory, magnificent though it was.

No, I am thinking of things like the reopening of their soccer stadium, the field where I have seen -- thorough the camera obscura of the internet -- women in burqas forced to kneel and then shot through the back of the head for the crime of adultery. Kids play football there again. That’s a win, Noam Chomsky, you lying son of a bitch.

Little girls march to school in the morning, singing. That’s a win, Robert Fisk. Old men wept as the Afghan national flag was carried by an actual Afghan army during their first free National Day in two generations. That is a win for the Good Guys, too, Harold Pinter. I hear of Special Forces sergeants organizing little league teams and I just smile like a little kid.

Yeah, me too.

Tonkin pinged me to this for which I am thankful because I heard a woman, sorry did not catch the name, on The News Hour tonight who said that the UN Security Council, LED BY THE US, withdrew from Ruwanda which led to the slaughter. She was unchallenged by Ms. Ifell (sp?). Anyone have any facts? I want to go after them on this.

Everything Japan did before August 6 1945...

add to that the in-gratitude of Communist China...

and the hope that we actually uphold our agreement with Taiwan!!

"the people who make up IAC/ANSWER opposed the serbia bombing."

We must have missed all the marches, protests, ads, celebrity mouthpieces, etc., etc...

God, what flaming hipocritical cowards the skinwasters are.
