Pray for our American Heroes and Nation

For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You
In a time when You may be found;
Surely in a flood of great waters
They shall not come near him.
You are my hiding place;
You shall preserve me from trouble;
You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye. (Psalm 32 6-8)

Father, only through the blood of Jesus Christ, You have made us godly. We come to pray to You in a time when You may be found, for night is coming.

As long as the Light is still shining, we ask You to demonstrate Your goodness towards our United States military men and women. In a flood of great waters, do not come near them. Be their hiding place and preserve them from trouble. Surround them with songs of deliverance! Instruct each and every one, especially the leaders in the way that they should go. Guide them with Your eye. Thank You.

For our Nation, Sir, we pray Psalm 69:13-15: But as for us, our prayer is to You, O LORD, in the acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of Your mercy, Hear us in the truth of Your salvation. Deliver us out of the mire, And let us not sink; Let us be delivered from those who hate us, (both within and outside our borders) And out of the deep waters. Let not the floodwater overflow us, Nor let the deep swallow us up; And let not the pit shut its mouth on us.

You answered David and we know You will answer us. Particularly, Sir, we pray about the rise of Islam within. We pray that Your light would shine brightly on them and enlighten the eyes of their understanding. You are mighty to save! Let the power of Your love overtake and transform them into children of Love and worshipers of the only true God, who is Love. Thank You. How we appreciate You and this place of prayer! We bless You, oh ever-present God, and honor You today in the name of Jesus. Amen.
