LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy. (Habakkuk 3:2)
TOPICS: Religion & Culture
KEYWORDS: america; military; pray; prayer
Dear Lord, we thank You for all that You have given us, and we thank You for another day.
Father, as we see the dangers of this world, we ask You to protect our military and enable them to stand against the enemies who attack them.
Father, we pray that You would shine the light of Your Gospel in the Middle East, and grant peace to those troubled nations.
LORD, we have heard of Your fame how You tore the darkness with light, brought forth the world from nothing, and with Your breath made all the starry hosts. We have heard of how You delivered Your people from Egypt and from all who oppressed them, how You contended for them and with them. We have heard how You came from heaven to earth, and made the blind to see, the lame to walk, the deaf to hear; at Your rebuke, O Lord, the wind died down, and Your voice stilled the sea. You preached good news to the poor, and Your love overcame hell. We stand in awe of Your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy. We pray to You in the Name of Jesus Christ, our faithful high priest, Amen.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need.
Amen.
