prayers up
I have sent prayers your way. Just see what the doctor says and proceed from there.
You may want to look into alternative medicean too. I’ve seen a very high success rate with alternative medicine vs.conventional (90% vs. 10%).
Prayers for your health and healing.
Prayers for your full recovery, OneVike.
I wonder whether your diet — what you eat and drink— might have something to do with your condition. You might try cutting back on acidic foods (meat, sugar, grain, alcohol) and upping your intake of alkaline foods (fruits, veggies). Someone else mentioned drinking enough water, which I second. I ended up in the hospital with vicious, unbearable gut pain once—turned out to be caused by eating too much acid-producing stuff. VERY easy to fix.
Prayers up at least daily from now on.
God Bless
Praying. I think you will be fine because it’s so sudden and violent; that makes it sound like a virus of some kind or even bacterial.
It is not true that all blood from the rectum is serious, though it is true that it might be so good to get checked. Blood could be innocuous too, like someone mentioned hemorrhoids and fissures. But in your case it sounds like something is temporarily putting your intestines through the ringer. You need to be treated in order to get well ASAP.
Keep us posted when you get home.
Great advice!!! The ER will do immediate testing and almost immediate results. Otherwise, wait several days to get into doctor, wait several days for blood work results, wait a week to see gastro doc, wait another week for endoscopy/colonoscopy. Maybe two weeks from now you might know what’s going on.
**Someone else mentioned drinking enough water**
Most bottled water has acid in it too.
However, a few suppliers go with the alkaline. My stomach is sensitive to acid so I drink the bottled water with alkaline in it.
If anyone want more information, FReepmail me.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
Prayers up.
Oh no. Of course! Try not to worry yet. Stuff can happen that isn’t necessarily serious, but will scare you to death. God Bless you & Keep you safe.
Sending prayers for you and your lovely wife.
Generally bright red blood means some kind of irritation in the lower bowel tract. Diverticulitis, IBS, and food allergies can trigger that so can a bug. Dark red blood, stool continuously real dark, and coffee ground like stool usually points to more serious issues.
Lord bless and heal Thy servant, relieve his suffering and comfort his wife.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
Joining in with prayers up for you OneVike.
Thanks for the heads up here Kathy in Alaska. Your help is always appreciated.
Prayers made my friend.
Get this looked at immediately. I don’t want to alarm you but ask for a colonoscopy.
I am praying urgently for you, dear OneVike, and for your wife!
Prayers being said.
