Breaking News: Consecrated Host Returned, OKC Archbishop Drops Lawsuit

The consecrated host, who Oklahoma City's Archbishop claims was stolen by Satanic Priest Adam Daniels for use in September's “Black Mass”, has been returned.

An attorney representing the satanic church presented the host to a catholic priest in Oklahoma City, Thursday afternoon.

Archbishop Paul Coakley previously filed a lawsuit, asking a district judge to stop the Black Mass, scheduled for Sept. 21. With the return of the host, Coakley has agreed to dismiss the lawsuit with prejudice.

Daniels released the following statement regarding the incident:

"I, Dastur Adam Daniels, returned this consecrated host to Arch-Bishop [sic] Paul Coakley. The reason for this return is based solely on the fact I refuse to waste thousands of dollars fighting over a nasty cookie that some man said a prayer over. The Black Mass of Oklahoma will continue as planned with the original host that has been used since 1666, course [sic] black bread. We will moved [sic] forward using the Concentration [sic] found in Black Mass. Nothing has changed and we will still move forward with worshiping

They can’t even verify if what gets handed them is actually one of their wafers or just one that someone bought off the net.

I wonder how they verified that the wafer had in fact been transubstantiated?

Have either the wine or the bread been submitted for DNA testing?
It would change my thinking if they were.

If only Pope Paul VI never allowed Holy Communion in the paw, crap like this would never have become so prevalent.

That host has been gravely tarnished, having been in. the possession of Satanists. Me personally, I would not touch it, or have the host in the same room with me.

Yeah, I don’t get being disappointed that the satanists apparently publicly admitted they don’t care enough about their own faith to fight it, simply because the Catholics did care enough about their own beliefs to fight it. Also that this somehow makes Catholics look bad, not satanists. Despite a supposed press release from ‘Dastur’ that looks like it was composed by a particularly slow mandrill.

geezz, where do Catholics get these ideas? not from Scripture. The bread and wine are symbolic. We are tasked with partaking whenever we meet with other Believers, as a way to remember Christ sacrifice. That’s all - we are not eating Christ, He is not “Inside” the cracker, we are not given spiritual super powers. Eating and Drinking it is a sign of communion with Him and other Believers, of rememberence. That’s all.

2) I’ll stand with the Roman Catholics against a devil-worshiping sex offender any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I am not standing with any one but I agree with Benito, it is just a cracker.

But if some one can show me by the scripture where I am wrong I will say it is more than a cracker.

Watch the movie Romero,

Yes, if you want to know the truth just watch a move, maybe I have missed the point but I thought reading the Bible is where we learn the truth.

. . . a nasty cookie that some man said a prayer over.

Absolutely astonishing. There are at least a dozen, if not more, FReepers who could've been the source of that quote.

No must it look differently?

When Christ said in John 6: “take you all and eat of it, for This is My Body” do you think it looked differently to the apostles?

If the bread that Christ broke and bless and distributed to the apostles didn’t change some way in appearance to those present - did that mean Christ was lying? or that it didn’t actually occur as He said?
