Host of ‘Mormon Stories’ podcast faces church discipline hearing (Pro-Gay)

John Dehlin, the founder of a podcast for Mormon doubters and dissidents, is facing LDS Church charges for apostasy.

LDS leaders in Logan, where Dehlin lives, have summoned the popular host of "Mormon Stories" to a disciplinary hearing scheduled on Jan. 25.

"I have been informed that the likely outcome of the disciplinary council will be either disfellowshipment or excommunication "

Dehlin said his LDS stake president outlined reasons for the charges that included: the podcast, which explores "difficult historical and cultural issues"; Dehlin’s public support for same-sex marriage and the Ordain Women movement;

Yep. If more churches fumigated for termites regularly, they might be able to count fewer members in the short run, but they would be structurally far more sound in the long run.

We all ought to know that the next thing on the gay agenda is break churches who don't kow-tow to their perverted lifestyle, just as they have with florists, bakers and photographers.

Well, Dehlin is off-base on homosexuality...yet he has pinpointed why so many Mormons are leaving the church...and it's not the church's stance on homosexuality.

And, in fact, it's all that Dehlin has done to expose all of this & challenge the Lds church General Authorities...as to why he is "up" on discipline charges.
