“Why then does the Church seek to continually re-present Christ in His victimhood to the Father?”

Could you provide me with that scripture ?? Thanks

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Nope...He said tho do the last Supper as a REMEMBRANCE of Him...He never said th RESACRIFICE Him

I am not sure what a “protestant evangelical” is, but I do know what the Church has received concerning the Eucharist as evidenced by the Scriptures and the Church Fathers and accepted by all Christians up until the 16th century.
Forgive us if some of us continue to hold the historical, orthodox Christian Faith as opposed to the 16th century tradition of men.

Please supply the scriptures

For example: If Jesus died for our sins, How could he die for sins that were yet to be committed? Since he suffered already 2000 years ago, why should I worry about my own sins, since his suffering is over?

Is God omniscient or not ??

You may wonder why I bring this up? I was taught that every time I sinned, I was adding to the suffering of my Redeemer.

What pride that is..who told you that ?? You can no more add to the suffering of Christ than you can add to your salvation

Just as the Jewish people believe they are participating in the original Passover, Catholics believe that we are participating in the actions of the last supper. We know that it is once for ALL, not ONCE for all.

Jews do not believe they are participating n the "actual passover" how foolish is that ?? Jesus was not crucified at the last supper ... ...

LOL now explan the difference between "Once for ALL and Once for all???.(other than your caps )

Time in God’s eyes is very crucial to understanding His justice also. In the last day when He pours out His wrath on the earth, He specifically states that He is avenging the deaths of all the innocent, the prophets, and the saints. Read Revelation 18 because that is another example of “once for all.”

I thought I had, but I just checked my personal library and could not find it. I will have to get the reading pile down a bit and order it.

Apparently prots don't think so, if He can't turn bread and wine into His literal Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity!

John 6:54 "Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you."

Catholics accept by faith what Jesus Christ Himself said, Protestants don't.

If someone wants to argue until they're blue in the face that Jesus Christ was incapable of clearly stating what He wanted us to know, knock yourself out.

have a nice day

Wanna Bet on it? Seriously. Go to AskMoses.com and speak it an Orthodox conservative Rabbi and ask him: "Do the Jewish people believe that they are participating in the original Passover event when they celebrate the Seder Meal at Passover?"

I have told all you folks to do this at least a dozen times and not one of you all has had the guts to do it.

the cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the BLOOD OF CHRIST?

Did He call it THE BLOOD OF CHRIST...No ..."The cup of blessing—answering to the Jewish "cup of blessing," over which thanks were offered in the Passover. It was in doing so that Christ instituted this part of the Lord's Supper (Mt 26:27; Lu 22:17, 20)
we bless—"we," not merely ministers, but also the congregation. The minister "blesses" (that is, consecrates with blessing) the cup, not by any priestly transmitted authority of his own, but as representative of the congregation, who virtually through him bless the cup.".Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary

Paul called it "the cup" (as did Jesus..) and he called it bread (as dd Jesus)

So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep [i.e., died].

yep it is plain..Paul called it BREAD

“Why is it raining, momma?”
“It rains when Jesus is crying, honey.”
“Why is Jesus crying, momma?”
“It must be something you did.”

St Ignatius of Antioch, taught by the Apostle John and eventually martyred in Rome for his Faith in the Lord, told us the Gnostics in his day abstained from the Eucharist because they denied the Eucharist was the Body of the Lord.

I would not go to communion in a Roman church because I do not partake in Idolatery BTW.. like Rome the gnostics believed they had some secret knowledge

>>“Do this in memory of me.” Jesus’ words.<<

He didn't say "do it to me over and over". He didn't say "keep presenting my blood and body". He didn't say "perform some unbloody sacrifice". He said "remember what I did".

Few Catholics think about this question. The reason is that most Catholics are not aware that the Church teaches that the Mass is an actual sacrifice.

Complete with the sacrificial altar.
