Is 7-year biblical 'Tribulation' about to start? (Shemitah, blood moons and signs)
WND ^ | 9/10/2015

Millions of investors concerned about the Shemitah cycle are watching stock markets and economies in these dark days of September.

Will the Dow crash, they wonder, like it did in the past two Shemitah years, 2001 and 2008, or will the dollar collapse and take the U.S. economy down with it?

Not Mark Biltz.

The founder and pastor of El Shaddai Ministries is watching for something much bigger.

The start of the Tribulation.

Biltz, author of “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs,” is not predicting that the Tribulation will start with the beginning of a new seven-year cycle at sundown on Sunday, Sept. 13. But if it doesn’t start, then he says it likely won’t for at least another seven years.

That’s because God operates according to seasons that follow the biblical Old Testament feast days, he said.

“The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is trying to get the attention of the entire world, and His people in particular, of the need to get on His calendar cycle.

One of the ways He does that is through signs in the heavens, including lunar and solar eclipses, which of course have to do with calendars. A total lunar eclipse or “blood moon” occurs on Sept. 28, which is the Feast of Tabernacles. It’s the last of four blood moons, all falling on Jewish feast days, over the past 18 months, a rare “tetrad” of lunar eclipses.

And it’s not like one has to search very long for signs that the Tribulation could be about to commence. Read here how Christians are being slaughtered across the world while the historically Christian nations of Europe and America ignore their cries, jumping instead to take in Muslim migrants and thousands of potential jihadist enemies.

The ‘Great’ tribulation is three and a half years...

Notice: There is no seven year time period in the Book of Revelation

Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

To show His servants—things which must shortly take place...

Revelation 4:4 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”

I will show you things which must take place after this.

Two witnesses agree

Revelation 11:2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months.

42 months = 3 and a half years

11:3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”

42 (months) x 30 (days) = 1260= three and a half (lunar) years

11:9 Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves.

יָמִים Translated as 'days' but is also translated years elsewhere

Revelation 12:14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

Revelation 13:5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.

Daniel 9: 27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”

Yeshua put an end to the sacrifice (“It is finished!” John 19:30)

Passover 3790 is the middle of a shmita cycle (seven) 30 CE

Read all about it...

Why Didn’t the Red Ribbon on the Head of the Scapegoat Turn White in 30 C.E.?

Clip:

The Talmud relates, however, that 40 years before the destruction of the Second Temple the scarlet colored strip of wool did not turn white. The text of the Talmud which missionaries quote states,

The Rabbis taught that forty years prior to the destruction of the Temple the lot did not come up in the [high priest’s] right hand nor did the tongue of scarlet wool become white…

(Talmud, Tractate Yoma 39b)

Citing the above statement, missionaries contend that the year the scarlet ribbon ceased to turn white coincides with the time that Jesus was crucified. After all, they argue, 40 years prior to the destruction of the Second Temple corresponds to the year 30 C.E,3 which is approximately the time of Jesus’ crucifixion. They conclude, therefore, that the cessation of the whitening of the scarlet ribbon clearly indicates that God was no longer accepting animal sacrifices, and the Jewish people, therefore, needed to turn to Jesus as their only avenue for atonement. Ultimately, this argument asserts that the reason why the scarlet strip of wool did not turn white in the year 30 C.E. was due to the fact that the sins of the Jews were not forgiven because they did not accept Jesus as their messiah.

And I'd really hate to be the slug that assigned what Yeshua accomplished to the anti-Christ.

The Rapture will immediately change the balance of power in the world.

Wrong. By the time the rapture occurs, the persecution against Christians will be so bad, most Christians will be unemployed, unable to find work.

No... the 7 yr. isn’t “about to start”....but the pieces are moving now that will one day lead to that....there’s a ways to go yet. Europe’s Muslim invasion has yet to be fully dispersed ‘across’ Europe in order to create the havoc needed for a rise of the anti-Christ to get things under control.
But this influx and turmoil is forcing the European Unity to begin to fracture....that needs to unit and this invasion may be the hinge to bring about the ten league nation ...which if i remember right three will fall away or something of that nature. At any rate it will be a struggle for power.

....”All of this sounds like a slightly Christianized form of astrology”....

Well that’s just it ....People who are into “signs” of this nature need to perhaps focus otherwise on how the World stage is setting up and what that means.

The International Stage is pretty much set and the pieces moving now.....Watch what Europe does in regards to stabilizing the Erozones etc. It’s very interesting as Merkle has taken the power lead and leveraging her hold.

I don’t think the Bible is the literal truth, but allegorical.

Well God then must be allegorical...The Crucifixion and Resurrection are allegorical...

Whoever takes Syria is going to be significant......If Assad falls watch Iran and Saudi make a mad rush to assume leadership....it will be a blood bath of both sides (Shite vs. Sunni) warriors heading there to see who gets the leadership of the Caliphat.....

But...

Because Russia/China vs the US/Nato are also laying claims on Syria they may just wait til all the dingbats have gathered there and flatten Damascus and the entire nation...

Interesting to watch this...

Mock away.

It’s a decision you will have a long time to regret.

While I personally believe there are other signs that must be fulfilled, I also see the coming day as a day to reflect on being ready for the return of the Lord. This will be an event on the level of creation, the birth of Christ, His death, His resurrection, and the coming of the Holy Spirit. It will happen on a day like the one about to begin. It may not be this day, but it will be soon. Some alive today will see it.

Amen. I do wish Christ would return and take His bride home soon. I don't want to wait another 1 year, 7 years, or more.

Things on earth (and in America) are about to get exponentially worse. It will be a time of sorrows. If I must endure it all, that is Christ's call. But I would rather be with the Lord in eternal safety and peace instead.

Yes, we get it EEGator. You don't believe and you mock others who do.

But be prepared to endure consequences for the path you have willfully and clearly chosen.

13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

Matthew 7: 13-14

....”If Christians knew their Bible’s, this would be the main subject of discussion in every church in the world today”....

Why would you declare Christians don’t know their bible because they don’t agree with the teachings you profess too, which at best are indeed disputable?

Perhaps it’s not being discussed in every church, as you suggested, because it’s not biblical Christianity.
