I dropped out of this 18 years ago today. I am 60 years of age, never married, never “played the field”, and have no use for porn. I just concluded that I did not meet modern women’s unattainable standard. I am gainfully employed, keep myself in good health (not a couch potato), and have a wide variety of interests. But I have found that women will see all the good things, and think it’s too good to be true. So they will make up stuff. The one I was dating at the time (we’re talking bike rides, lunch, tame stuff, nothing immoral) decided to do some amateur detective work on the internet. One of the hits was a similar name, different middle name. That was it, in her mind she “found the dark secret”. I became this white supremacist Aryan Nation domestic terrorist child molester. She was convinced, she saw it on the internet! She proceeded to make my life miserable with this slander.
And where do they get these ideas of unattainable perfection and there must be some hidden dark secret? Soap operas. Romance novels. Not being in church. I found this to be so widespread that I concluded that it was no longer worth the pursuit. I will remain single.

My first wife cheated and put me into a financial crisis that took 25 years to get free. My second wife had a bipolar episode and took her life after five years of marriage leaving me with a three year old. I don’t think I want a third disappointment.

Civil marriage as now constituted is actually a gay institution. I don’t see how anybody normal would want to have anything to do with it.

men are finding marriage less desirable than in the past and are now marrying later, if at all.

I guess it's not just me, then. That's too bad.

My life had been pretty good until Hurricane Manure rolled in and then stalled over my world for these last few.

Unfortunately, the "someday I'm gonna marry that girl" girl married the other guy not long after the hurricane started and I haven't dated or even looked for anyone to be with since, not until I was fairly sure the sh!t storms had definitely passed. Just didn't seem fair or right to bring someone new into that storm.

Now that the skies are a sunny, Carolina blue again, I've never had more to share and never been better nor better able than I am now, but this has to be one of the worst times in history to find someone to share with.

I hope God is a matchmaker. Otherwise, a rogue male I am and a rogue male I shall always be.

That reminds me, I need to find out how much net worth is required for a single man to be considered eccentric instead of crazy.

Whatever the amount, that's my new Five Year plan.

The women need to step up and admit responsibility to a great extent.

Feminism appeared and women wanted to be equal with men. So they got what they asked for. When so many women entered the workforce, companies loved it ‘cause they could, and would, pay females less but still enough to exist on at a basic level.

Men’s jobs diminished, both in quantity and pay. (Before feminism, a man could make a living adequate enough to support a family.)

The “qualities” women need to survive in the workplace as tough businesswomen carry over to the home and that isn’t pretty. Being a controlling hard-ass bitch in the office is one thing; in a mother and wife it’s intimidating and emasculating. (IMHO)

Feminism created monsters. Men don’t like monsters and logically will be “disinclined to marry” monsters. And women complain because they can’t find a husband. Boo hoo. Law of unintended consequences.

Sad, too, because I’ve heard that the Muslim countries are pretty much decreeing that their people must produce mass quantities of offspring to outnumber us.

Two of my five sons have no inclination to get married, or even date.

When my friend’s son got married three years ago, he insisted on a pre-nup with his fiancee.

That surprised me, as when I got married almost 40 years ago, such a thing was very rare.

But he owned a house and other things that he did not want to lose if a divorce occurred.

So far, everything has worked out, but I am old school and this still bothers me.

Maybe he was right, when I see what happens today to men.

39 y/o single male here. It will be a cold day in hell before I ever subject myself to the possibility of being dragged in to the women-dominated, man-hating family courts. No way. The feminists had ruined marriage well before the fags did. I will cohabitate for as long as any woman can stand me (or vice versa) but have no intentions of ever getting a government-sanctioned marriage.

There is no upside for them to, given the conditioning of most females from schools, media, shows, and advertising.

I have a 19 year old son and a 15 year old daughter. My son states he will NOT ever get married.... my 15 year old said she would “consider” it but under very strict guidelines (they know each other for years, he proves his faithfulness etc). Okay... I had a huge argument with my son over his opinion. Me: “don’t you ever want to find a nice girl? What about children? Don’t you want to share your life with someone? (and finally with me yelling) I don’t know why in the heck your are so jaded. Your father and I have been married 25 years and have known each other 30. We ARE still together”. Son’s response: “Mom.. you and Dad are the exception and not the rule”.

His comment silenced me (and yeah.. that isn’t EASY to do). He’s grown up in a generation where most of his friends are from broken home.. and kids talk to each other. The whole step parent fiasco, the split weekends, the arguing over who gets the kid for Christmas and the constant fighting. So.. I don’t blame this generation of people.. I blame MINE and the people a bit younger. We screwed it up and the children suffered.. and now we are all surprised and saddened by the statistic that young people aren’t interested in going through the torment that their parents did.

I tell every young man that will listen: Never Marry and take your future into your own hands and put on a rubber.

The state has made marriage a VERY bad proposition for any man, under all circumstances. There's simply little more than legal misery for those men who succumb.

And, for those who say "not all women are like that", I say BS. There's a BUNCH of otherwise Christian women out there who took their husbands and the father of their children to the cleaners...because they found out they could.

The root cause to the core of the problem is woman have been brain washed by Feminism.

Feminism at its core gets its roots in the occult.

I’m a 37 year old man and I simply haven’t found anyone with whom there is enough mutual values, interests, and attraction. I would marry, but in the world we live in I’m not going to start a family with whomever for its own sake. The single, childless women 30-37 that I know are career types holding out for Mr. Perfect with their checklist out. Good luck with that...
